Then the SOBs should not have pursured the case created by a reporter. This is an outrage that they send investigators to look for witnesses in that neighborhood where the fight occurred.
And low-life Bush owed these men a pardon the minute it happened. He would have been happy to throw them in a cell beside Ramos and Campeon.

The establishment in our government has repeatedly broken faith with the men it sends to fight.

that outcome was all the Marine Corps was ever likely to get, the service was told more than four years ago

So they knew they had NO case, but like all criminal justice (Duke rape case anyone?) the pursued the charges, tied up a mans life, and possibly ruined it for NO reason!

Just like everything the government does, they have no good or beneficial reason to continue. However, they do it because they can with no productive reason or outcome to required. After all they are doing it on our dime and will get their raises, benefits, and retirements no matter what the outcome is!

This really infuriates me as it is a supreme example of government in action.
No results needed nor required, and just strung out to keep government workers employed.. on NOTHING!. Completely unreal!
Twilight zone episode, or bad dream. My prayers for all the FALSELY accused in this case!!

Don't even go there. The Marines were doing their jobs. These two committed crimes, attempted to cover them up (another crime) and were rightfully sent to prison.
