MSNBC, America's closest approximation yet to Pravda (though not for lacking of trying, New York Times), did something curious but characteristic Wednesday night during the hour-long hyperventilation known as "The Ed Show." (video after page break)
The show's namesake, Ed Schultz, was talking with Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne, who benefits from his appearances with Schultz by looking sane by comparison.
Earlier in the program, Schultz could barely contain his anger over a photo showing Republican Gov. Jan Brewer pointing a finger toward President Obama's face and appearing to exchange words with him after the president's arrival in Arizona that day.
By the time Dionne came on the show, the subject matter was Obama's phone-it-in State of the Union address, but MSNBC provided an outlet for its viewers' venom toward Brewer by showing their Twitter tweets at the bottom of the screen. Presumably this entailed someone at MSNBC, maybe even more than one adult, screening the tweets before they were aired.
Here's a tweet that appeared while Schultz was talking with Dionne --
Next time Jan Brewer sticks her finger in President's face, the Secret Service should break it & drop her. #edshow #p2
Stephanie Miller, apparently following "chaplinlives" on Twitter, echoed the sentiment on her radio show as described by NewsBuster Tim Graham. If Brewer pointed her finger at Lyndon Johnson, Miller gushed, Johnson "would have broken that off and shoved it up your bleep."
Yes, the same LBJ once condemned by the left for killing babies in Vietnam now hailed as a model for inflicting pain on political opponents. And what a shock to learn last fall that Jackie Kennedy suspected Johnson of involvement in her husband's murder. Bone crusher, indeed.
It was just a few years ago that left wingers were in full lather over the specter of captured terrorists subjected to physical discomfort, their beauty sleep interrupted, constitutional right to satellite TV denied, all to prevent the slaughter of thousands -- more -- Americans. Such abuse of unrepentant jihadists was tantamount to war crimes, leftists alleged, while stamping their feet for show trials of Bush-era hooligans.
Now when a Republican governor is guilty of insufficient reverence toward Obama, liberals spew the type of bile you'd expect from a crime boss's lackeys after a few too many stingers.
Not that we should be surprised by this. Much the same impulse animated an earlier version of national socialism.

Ed would fall on the ground if obama walked into the studio. Most of his worshippers would. And that’s how obama likes it. He truly believes he is a god. Maybe he is. The god of the underworld.

I fine them to be fairly well-informed; to them, their better off than us at this point. They have no misconceptions about how badly things are going down here (though they probably don’t lay it all at Obama’s feet), and for them they’re doing OK.
We are not ok, our socialist system is going to collapse, and people have no idea what freedom even is. They may be fairly well informed on basic things, but in the end, they are robots programmed by public education and the TV.
You’re OK in comparison to us; when you have such resources, and a minscule permanent underclass in comparison to ours, you’ll be OK. Even if you lose your manufacturing as we did, Asia still desperately needs your resources, and computer programmers don’t take miners’, oilfield workers’ or loggers’ jobs.

well, here in Alberta we’re ok, Saskatchewan is ok, most of the rest of the country is dependant on us for payments (communism). Eventually it’ll give. Either way, our countries are attached at the hip, we’re like conjoined twins, so you can expect whatever hits the US hard, will hit us too.
I am mostly just sick of my fellow countrymen thinking how awesome it is to bash our southern neighbors. It’s considered hip on the radio stations and the whole nine yards. It’s called ignorance. Thanks to a nuclear deterrent, Canada was kept safe in the cold war.

Sheriff Arpaio has been doing this to Barry and his Fifth Amendment Boys for three years. However, Joe just tells them to pull his finger. Special Ed needs to lighten up before he has a heart attack.
Wow. Unbelievable. After 46 years on this earth, this heretofore law abiding citizen would devote the remainder of his life to hunting down anyone, including any esteemed secret service personnel, who so much as harmed one hair on Governor Brewer’s head.
Do I recall the Colorado governor, (was it Roemer) dressing down one of the President Bushes at a governors conference? A shoe was thrown at W and the press laughed about that.

The Left survives on government support: grants for this and that, public spending, welfare. We are coming to the end of that road. Government spending cannot continue at current rates much longer. Union power is being curtailed. The Left realizes this.
Expect things to get VERY ugly over the next two years.
The prototypical MSNBC viewer is exactly the type that would wet their pants at the sight of a six-year-old playing cops and robbers who made a make-believe “gun” by pointing his fingers and saying “bang”, and would call on the real cops to arrest the kid for assault and send him to anti-violence re-education camp.
I’m sure Obama will quickly go on national television to scold this language and call for a “new tone” just like he did when Giffords was shot.

Whites are already a minority in the world,,,about 8%. So why the big rush to make them the minority in the US, Canada, and Europe? Japan is 98.5 % ethnic Japanese. Hear any libs screaming that Japan’s population has to become more diverse? Of course not, because that would be racist.
