Me too, even through the bad days. Newt didn’t use his firebrand early on, and I love Rick Perry too, (again warts and all to be forgiven because he asked), but soon moved to Newt when the Perry campaign, late as it already was, then just dissolved into silent running after his announcement roll out. Saw that one coming.
Then Newter brought back the Big Stick and began to hack away at the brush. Very nice ride, until Bloody Thursday.
