That's what we want. That's what we mean when we talk about the mandate.

IT'S STILL A MANDATE, YOU CRAPWEASEL!

Not you, Jim. I wasn't calling you a crapweasel.

Federal Socialism or State Socialism, pick thy poison!
It would take a fool to not see ANY government run agency will end up in the hands of the Feds.
The Mittiot needs his A$$ nailed to the wall with no wiggle room.
Yet another “gubmint solution” aimed at the symptom rather than the problem.
Less government, please!

Thank you very much, thouworm!! And there you have it, folks. Bondi has accepted Romney’s offer to make her his new National Healthcare Czar and her responsibility will be to get all 50 states to impose Romney like top-down government approved forced healthcare systems!!

This is not free market, is not conservatism, is not Liberty. It is government tyranny!!

Ronald Reagan warned us that the socialists would take over America by imposing socialist healthcare. Well, here it is. A president Romney would usher in socialized healthcare in all 50 states. This is his goal and he’s creating a task force and naming his Czar to get it done. This is NOT states rights!!

We know from recent history that his plan has or will have death panels and taxpayer funded abortion!! Even if it doesn’t make it into the bills, the liberal activist judiciary will force it in, and a president Romney will not lift a finger to stop them!!

States rights do NOT trump our God given unalienable rights to Life and Liberty!!

Romney loves RomneyCare which is identical to ObamaCare. He claims he will repeal (parts of) ObamaCare, but he has plans to install something even worse, because he would do it as a “conservative free-market states rights solution.”

But it’s stil RomneyCare/ObamaCare and it’s still socialism and anti-Liberty!!

FUMR!!

NO ROMNEY, NO WAY!!

NO socialized healthcare!!

No more Czars!!

Whether it's a federal or state mandate...it's a crap-sandwich mandate, Pam!

RomenyCare = ObammieCare, plain and simple.

Who do you think pays for that mandate, Pam?

That's right, Pam...I DO!!! No amount of lying will cover that fact up. Just look at what RomenyCare has done to MA!!

Glad to see Milt has his Czars lined up, Pam.

NO THANKS!

The establishment has no intention of turning back Obamacare. It simply wants to be in charge of it, and the windfall of revenue.

and we stand behind Mitt Romney for Governor as well as my fellow cabinet members Adam Putnam, Jeff Atwater and [black screen /no audio for a second or two] completely remaining neutral. He's not helping anyone behind the scenes, as well as our Senate president and our speaker of the house.

I wonder if the black screen is on purpose. During his great interview with Greta on his bus, Newt said that the Governor had been "helpful". I took the helpful to be in a general way and I believe Newt had acknowledged that Gov. Rick Scott was not endorsing. Bondi was so "in the bag" for Romney during this interview (& she had evidently been listening to the Greta/Newt interview) that she made the comment that she had JUST talked to Gov. Scott herself and he was NOT helping "anyone behind the scenes" .... it was obvious she meant Newt. It was just plain snarky and this is why Greta said she was taking the last word and said what she did about Bill McCollum.

"ObamaCARE and RomneyCARE are conservative.
We are PROUD of their death panels
and that Romneycare cost the Bay State citizens more than 18,313 jobs
and drove up total health insurance costs in Massachusetts by at least $4.311 billion;
and collapsed disposable income per person by $376; and
even reduced investment in Massachusetts by $25.06 million
.
Screw the worthless people in Massachusetts.
Like this mindless wench, they ONLY live
to serve me and BAIN, and besides ...
I FLED TO CALIFORNIA."

I am going to be part of his healthcare policy team, um, when he's president to undo this and to create good healthcare.

"Create good healthcare."

I still can't get used to this. The federal government is going to create good healthcare. Pure socialism.

Everybody's got a stake in everybody's health. Nutrition is essential to health, so the logical step after healthcare is to take over feeding everyone well. They will create "good feeding." Once everyone's responsible for feeding everyone else, what's next? Anything? Oh yeah. Deciding who should NOT be fed.

Mitt Romney will get us there, he'll "create" good healthcare. Hoo-ray for Creator Mitt.

*gag*

Been reading though and wondering: Is there anything illegal in all she says? Any conflict with the Federal Election rules? Has Willard crossed the line?

Are there any federal lawyers out there who have background in election law?

Just thinking of Blank-O and all the talk he did about what will I get for it.....and he didn't even seal the deal.

Ah, he wants not a national plan but 50 different state plans! That’s so Romney! He won’t be to blame for any of them.
But, but, didn’t she just say he was going to “create” healthcare? Didn’t she just outline a plan — ONE plan — that was different from Obama’s in this respect, and this, and this and this?

The dope would be far better off it he just admitted his mistake and said he learned from it and move on. The American public is unfortunately far more forgiving than I.

A few related thoughts and a question or two about the ongoing revelations below. Why are these Romney advisors injecting these comments into the public arena now? Whose pulling Romney's strings? RINOs only? Dems in his camp? What HUBRIS!

In the post-SOTU commentary, Andrea Mitchell was nearly breathless to brake this news:

ANDREA MITCHELL: "I talked to a top Romney adviser tonight who said, 'Look, if Mitt Romney cannot win here in Florida, then we're going to have to try to reinvent the smoke-filled room which has been democratized by all these primaries. And we're going to have try to come with someone as an alternative to Newt Gingrich who could be Jeb Bush, Mitch Daniels, someone.' Because there is such a desperation by the so-called party elites, but that's exactly what Gingrich is playing against."

THEN came this:

THREAD: Romney Adviser Norm Coleman Goes Off Message on Health Care

ARTICLE: Romney adviser Norm Coleman predicts GOP president won't repeal health law

"You will not repeal the act in its entirety, but you will see major changes, particularly if there is a Republican president," Coleman told BioCentury This Week television in an interview that aired on Sunday. "You can't whole-cloth throw it out. But you can substantially change what's been done."

THEN came this:

THREAD: Romney Advisor: No Obamacare Repeal

When in fact, this was the real news:

ARTICLE: Romney Camp: We Need A European VAT [a $2 gas tax, and open Taliban talks] and We’re Not Going to Repeal Obamneycare

"As Ben Domenech notes in his Transom [Note: subscription site], Mitt Romney’s advisors have now advised him to support “a $2 gas tax, a VAT, and open Taliban talks."

http://www.healthcarelawsuit.us/

Immediately after the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was signed into law on March 23, 2010, 13 Attorneys General filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Treasury and the U.S. Department of Labor alleging the Health Care Reform law signed by the President was unconstitutional.

The amended complaint currently features 26 state plaintiffs; additionally, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) joined the lawsuit as a co-plaintiff on behalf of its members nationwide.

The lawsuit, filed in the federal court’s Northern District of Florida on March 23, alleges the new law infringes upon the constitutional rights of Floridians and residents of the other states by mandating all citizens and legal residents have qualifying health care coverage or pay a tax penalty. By imposing such a mandate, the law exceeds the powers of the United States under Article I of the Constitution. Additionally, the tax penalty required under the law constitutes an unlawful direct tax in violation of Article I, sections 2 and 9 of the Constitution.

The lawsuit further claims the health care reform law infringes on the sovereignty of the states and Tenth Amendment to the Constitution by imposing onerous new operating rules that Florida must follow as well as requiring the state to spend billions of additional dollars without providing funds or resources to meet the state's cost of implementing the law. This burden comes at a time when Florida faces severe budget cuts to offset shortfalls in an already-strained budget.
