If I thought an outspoken social conservative who has been actively hated by large chunks of the Democrat base for years had a chance, I’d support Santorum over Newt. But we don’t live in that reality.
Newt is my 2nd choice behind Santorum, because I have to believe there is no love for Newt either in the democrat base. They have hated Newt ever since the 1994 election.
