FTA: According to the News Tribute, among those challenging the stricter voter ID legislation is the Congressional Black Caucus, declaring it will disenfranchise many African-American voters. In addition, the Obama reelection campaign has come out against voter ID and the Brennan Center states that voting would be more difficult for at least 3.2 million voters.

Well, we know who the enemy is, don't we?

Our voter ID law was in near full effect in 2010 and the GOP ran the table in Michigan. Since then its become even better since we have a serious secretary of state who made a name for herself fighting fraud.

Photo ID required in Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

Photo ID requested Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Puerto Rico, and South Carolina.

Non-photo ID required in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, US Virgin Islands, Virginia, and Washington.

All other states do not require any proof of ID.

All residents of the above states are on notice to get their IDs in order so there will be no surprises on election day.

Shouldn’t it be “affect”, not “effect”?

The headline shows how the quality of journalism has fallen. They don't seem to understand the difference between "effect" and "affect," which is the correct verb.

Voter Photo Identification: Protecting the Security of Elections

States must protect the security of the election process, but they must also ensure that every eligible individual is able to vote. Not only does voter ID help to prevent fraudulent voting, but where it has been implemented, it has not reduced turnout. Despite many false claims to the contrary, there is no evidence that voter ID decreases the turnout of voters or has a disparate impact on minority, poor, or elderly voters; the overwhelming majority of Americans have a photo ID or can easily obtain one. Democratic Senator Harold Metts, who sponsored Rhode Island’s voter ID law, said that “as a minority citizen and a senior citizen, I would not support anything that I thought would present obstacles or limit protections.”

I remember when you could not vote unless you had your voters registration card with you. Now its like a crime if you have to show your driver’s license. The libtards would like us to all believe that blacks and other minority citizens don’t have drivers licenses or other forms of ID.

The only people who can’t show valid ID are illegal immigrants. Well and the thousands of dead folks who like to keep voting every year.

"some Americans" == race baiting commie Democrats.

Can't do any of the following without ID:

1. Cash check

2. Buy airline ticket

3. Turn on electricity

4. Register / license a car

5. Get married

And people want to VOTE without ID?

Dems just want to cheat, is all.
