We will risk the fairly safe assumption, as this is being written, that Air Force One did not make an appearance at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport sometime Thursday....
You almost have to laugh at this latest chapter in the seemingly endless birther saga, because about the only alternatives at this point are tears and/or nausea.
It was embarrassing enough when members of the Georgia legislature -- including, to Columbus acute humiliation, two members of the local delegation -- drafted a Presidential Eligibility Assurance Act in the last legislative session.
Now Georgians get to enjoy the added spectacle of their secretary of state, Brian Kemp, warning the president (let that sink in -- warning the president) through a White House attorney that failure to appear in a Georgia court would be at your own peril....
Peach Pundit editor Charlie Harper, in a blog published this week in the Savannah Morning News, wrote: This is a mistake. We are taught from a young age that we will be judged by the company we keep The birther argument transcends disagreements of policy and politics and spirals into pure nuttery. How true.
Georgia, no thanks to some judgment-impaired officials and certainly without the consent of the governed, has been slumming in the Orly Taitz nuttery neighborhood way too long. Please, for the sake of the states already battered image, lets just quietly tiptoe out of this putrid political ghetto and back to the daylight side of town before we attract any more ridicule....

The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. 162, 168.

Do the Democrats have anyone on the ballot for the primary other than Obama? If they do, then it would be an easy win for them. :-)
How about Constitutional Checkmate
The real issue in this is a President is not elected to these 49 United States, but Constitutionally must be elected by all 50 states, unless they have seceded from the Union as the Confederates did. Unless an event as that has taken place, the Constitution is not about Electoral Colleges or being ratified by Congress, but it is about the Union electing a President of all 50 states. Understand that any President can loose the popular vote as President Bush had, and win the electoral votes, along with numerous states, but no President can be President of these United States if he is not on the ballot or certified in all 50 states.

LOL!! Love the smell of ozone in he morning!
We're tellin' 'em, Bigun, in stereo. I just posted the same quote. Truth will out.
You are an idiot. You apparently believe that the lyingest man in the world is telling the truth about something without actually showing any proof of it.
I wouldn’t believe him if he said the sun will rise in the morning. He is apparently worthy of ruling YOU, but not other people who have enough common sense to demand proof from his lying @ss.
Ive been looking bad on here for years
Gee, go tell your ignorant and stupid story to the JUDGE that heard this case. Go ahead. Tell the judge just how stupid you think the decision is. We’ll wait.
You are no doubt a retread.
Funny how no one called the RATS birthers when they wanted McCain out because of being born in Panama.
"This court" decides if he is eligible to be on the ballot. If he cannot prove he is eligible to be on the ballot, Neither the Congress nor the Electoral College need to be concerned about him.
If you can't get through the first line of defense, there is no need to use the second line of defense. It is people such as yourself who let him fly through the system the first time around.
Yep! I saw that after I had posted.
I strongly suspect that a little redundancy is warranted in the case of this troll!
"WHaaaaaaaaaaaaa! They're being mean to my Baarack Obama!" -transducer
Obama has a legal team to protect his valuable time (playing golf and reading speeches)... Why cant that legal team simply comply in this matter? I would think he would want the record to reflect what he has put out for public consumption

This is how it was in the beginning, how it has always been and how it will be.

Funny how nobody in Obamas camp wants to discuss the Actual Facts Relevant to the Case.

There exists nothing in American law disqualifying a presidential candidate for his parents’ birthplace.
The court ruled that he was a citizen by birth, i.e. a natural born citizen.
