I just watched the first hour of the CNN debate last evening, but I thought Santorum had an excellent debate. He didn't sound so squeaky as in previous debates. If I had to select today [my state primary isn't until late May, so it is probably moot], I would lean toward Santorum. Romney is too much of slickster and Gingrich is too erratic and 'grandiose'. Paul has some good domestic policies, but his foreign policy is completely unrealistic.

I don't see Romney or Gingrich or Paul or even Santorum being able to defeat the MSM/Dem/Obama machine. They still have several months to make Obama look good. [I haven't seen any polls to see whether Obama got a bump after the SOTU. But, his popularity is still in the mid-40s, so he is within the 'win' range after polishing and manipulating things like job numbers and the economy.]

I wish it were so. I saw a poll the other night that had Obammy's job approval at 50+%, "personal approval" at 70+%. This is ridiculous. This bum has spent the country into bankruptcy yet a majority, perhaps a sizable one, of our idiot fellow citizens still like the guy. After the media finishes its suck-up job, my guess is Obama will be in the 60+% job approval range. No one is going to beat him then. We're so very, very screwed...
