This is a bogus story, planted by the Russians, not sure why.

“Dzhamaleim Mutaliyev, 35, known as Adam” does not exist. I have been following the Caucus wars for years, never heard of him.

The Emir of the Caucuses is Dokka Umarov:

Google “Dzhamaleim Mutaliyev” , no results older than today.

Sorry, we’ve been hustled. Could be the Russians are trying to gin up some attention.

I checked the The National Anti-Terrorist Committee’s report.

What they actually said that Mutaliyev was put in “charge of preparing several terrorist attacks” by the Emir of the Caucuses, Dokka Umarov.

At best he was a field operative. He is not even on the KGB list.
