I think you’re right. Just once, I’d like to see the conservative voters united behind a real conservative candidate.

Wrong. Santorum was being passionate about it and reflected how a majority of Americans feel about Obamacare and it’s mandate.

Romney is totally unable, and downright incapable, of showing passion about anything. That is what makes him so unlikable.

Romney just says what he thinks you want to hear and he is totally unconvincing that her cares or means anything he says.

One of the things I find most disturbing about Romney is his fake "calm" voice , when his demeanor screams more-hateful-than-sh@t..looking like an underlying closet explosive disorder.

The fact that he continuously accuses his opponents of "anger" is a telltale sign that Romney is the one who gets angry all the time and is just faking it for the camera.

I've worried about his family..he looks like a classic time-bomb type guy.

When he accuses someone of getting angry, he is projecting on others..that is why it seems odd. What a piece of work...

Santorum absolutely and completely destroyed Romney on healthcare last night. I am not a Santorum supporter, but I am thankfull he was at the debate last night to do real damage to Romney.

I won’t give Drudge the hits. Rather never click on his site again.

He will be THE biggest defender of ObamaCare if he gets the nomination. What a joke our party has become. Nominating the author of socialized medicine… excuse me while I puke.

He is also very Obama-like in that he blames everyone else when confronted about something (his blind trust administrator, his Super Pac, etc.). It was so bad last night that even David Gergen called him out on it.

“We were so angry about it, the GOP retook the House!”

The GOP retook the house not only because of Obamacare, but also to preserve Medicare, which is equally unaffordable, and unfair, and should equally ruffle the feathers of any freedom-minded individual, unless they are on medicare or some other government-funded/subsidized health care system.

Yep..he just seems to take credit for things he doesn't really know about because someone else is doing it for him. I'll bet someone else “saved” the Olympics" for him as well.

He's a silver spoon, limousine liberal, thinly veiled with an "R", all up in the clouds. In addition, he will be throwing temper tantrums to get his way once the cameras are gone and he's "gotcha".

That is how I see him.

Don't need him..don't want him

“Gov. Mitt Romney said the plan is “not worth getting angry about”

Yeah, who cares about individual liberty and freedom. I am working hard to ensure that he would not get the nomination, however if he did win it I was willing to hold my nose and cast an ABO vote. I would have been willing to do that with the hope that a conservative congress would repeal Obamacare and then Romney would sign it.

Given this comment and the comments of Coleman, I now know differently. Romney just lost my vote, god forbid he wins the nomination.

That is exactly the way I took it. Romney was NOT saying HEALTHCARE was not worth getting angry about, he was cautioning Santorum to calm down and be rational. Santorum has had a great difficulty understanding federalism — the difference between the powers of states vs. the powers of the federal government. Santorum’s explanation of Romneycare was becoming irrational. Romeny just wanted him to calm down and have a rational discussion.

I heard it said that Romney has a new debate coach. I’m not sure his new aggressive debating style will work as well with Obama as with Newt. Romney went for knockout punches at Newt on a day when establishment Republicans unleashed a barrage of attacks against Newt, but Obama will have the protection of the presidency and the media. Anything seen as harsh treatment by Romney will redound to Obama’s favor.

It's worth going to war "about." That's the grave danger the Statists, particularly those so deep in over their heads as the former Massachusetts governor appears to be, apparently cannot grasp.

The line was meant to shut down Santorum, almost certainly stashed away for that purpose, but it fell flat. Rick wasn't angry, he was righteously indignant, and for the right reasons.

I think Santorum hit his stride last night.

So ok; this poll shown on the site that gets the most hits per day/week/month of ANY site; and so has influence per it's outcome.

Personally; would stuff my pride; and vote for Newt; no matter what. But hey; it's a choice. And of course, I did vote - and for Newt.

>Santorum is going somewhere alright.. back home to Virginia<

So much for living in PA. This makes me sick. ANOTHER candidate who claims residency in the Old Dominion who was incapable of getting on the ballot for our primary.

So, Rick, your “fellow Virginians”, who would have LOVED the chance to have voted for you or for Newt, are now stuck with Mittens or Ron Paul, period. Gee, thanks for nothing.

Very few people were riled up about Medicare ‘cuts’, they were angry about ObamaCare which they understood was an assault on individual liberty.

I was hopeing Rick would have responded with:
“tell that to all the folks at the town hall meetings in 2009,10”
