If the GOP puts a non-natural born citizen on its ticket, I WLLL stay home or at least not vote for any presidential candidate. Marco is a great guy and a good senator but since his parents were not naturalized until after his birth, Rubio's eligibility is no better grounded than Obama's.

Marco is off to a good start in the Senate. I say let him rise to the top of the leadership heap and NOT do the country a disservice by creating another eligibility problem after what we have been dealing with in Obama.

Marco has been coy about his ambitions. I suggest that he KNOWS he is not constitutionally eligible according to the Founders' conception of NBC. I hope he tells the nominee "no way" if asked to join the ticket.

Yes, he has become a good little insider to the GOP.

Has Rubio joined the ranks of RINOS in his mimicry of Bob Dole, Christie, McCain, et al., in his attack on Newt?

If he is smart, he will remain neutral. If he goes to Romney, that will be his Crist kiss of death (like Crist with Obama) Then he will be neutered by GOP. They don't like Tea Party unless they cave in like Brown and Pam Bondi who I think are both done now.

Rubio is coy all right!
Wish he is BRAVE and upright enough to say: ‘I am honored but I am not constitutionally eligible to be the president or VP.’

Now he actually defends Romney, ‘the conservative’, in response to Gingrich’s factual charge that Romney is a moderate!

“Rubio’s eligibility is no better grounded than Obama’s”
I was thinking the same thing, he would be one heart beat away from the presidency? Would this set a precedent for following elections?

No more token candidates. Sorry. We need proven leaders and not more talkers.

We already tried
1) Cain the token black man with no political experience
2) Scott Brown, the token Massachusetts guy who won because of one line about Kennedy’s seat
3) Christie, the token tough talking Italian guy
4) Palin, the token female governor who kinda sorta thought she had the fire in her belly.

Is Rubio a Natural Born Citizen? I thought the VP had to have the qualifications to be President.
