Independence USA premiered two weeks ago. So far they have camped in the woods, in a tent without taking any food. Dad and son took out a deer with a bow. Mom and sis got a wild turkey with a shotgun. This week, Dad started a “summer kitchen” then fed the workers the deer and turkey while lighting the night with batteries powered by their wood powered truck.
It’s been pretty okay but really much of their stuff is so “on the grid” it’s silly. The house has enough electric woodworking equipment that he could have his own PBS woodcraft show, they were cutting trees with the help of a cherry picker and all the nails went into the “summer kitchen” with electric nailguns.
