In-N-Out is great, unfortunately there is not one around here
"Hamburgers - The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast."
I’ve been my own food Nazi since the heart attack. Sometimes I weigh the possible consequences and take a chance; mostly I behave with other stuff I like that is good for me.
The fat in meat can elevate blood sugars, its the carbs in the bread that is the bad part. I have had type 1 for 40 yrs. I eat whatever i want and people freak out if i eat a piece of candy- its all in the carb count to insulin ratio. people can get fat eating beans , corn, etc...
Did she eat the entire cheeseburger? Did she eat all the fries? Article doesn’t say. Was it beef or say a veggie patty? You can eat almost anything you want, but you need to control the portion size.
I’m a type 2 and occasionally eat a cheeseburger but it’s a treat and my blood sugar is under control. My HA1C is under 6.8 and has been for years (measure of the average of last 3 months blood sugar level). While I might want to wash the cheeseburger and fries down with a strawberry shake but that’s something I haven’t had in years.
On the HA1C test normal for a non diabetic is 4.5-6, 6-6.4 is considered prediabetes and under 7 is the target range for most diabetics. 9+ is out of control.
Ummm... cheeseburgers don’t give you diabeatis.
I wish a large team of news hounds would turn their cameras and reporting onto the personal lives of reporters (and their families) at NBCABCCBSCNNMSNBCFOX, etc.
These people need to be taken down some pegs in public opinion so people understand that total hypocrits and freaks of nature that are telling them what to think and do in life.
Oh, so THAT’S why I suddenly want a cheeseburger! :)
LOL! The perfect Southern Response....I can just here my Grandmother saying that from when I was younger.
They are good. I use them for pulled pork and pulled beef sandwiches, too. English muffins, they aren’t just for breakfast anymore! lol
I figure if the industry will not give us a decent bun, then that is their loss. We don’t care for the heavy whole wheat taste of some buns and its hard to find one that doesn’t use high fructose corn syrup, bleached four or shortening/hydrogenated/hydrated/interesterified trans fats.
For hot dogs we use Flatout wraps or we cut the hot dog to fit the muffin.
I think if one fast food joint would use a healthy bun they would make an impact. jmo
You’ll need lots of napkins they are very greasy. When the burgers are that thin it isn’t all juice! lol
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the title. This is the most famous of her books. I’ll buy it on Amazon and then eat a Big Mac!
