He called on the tea partiers to start working harder. "This group alone is big enough to start to turn this around," he said, declaring he wouldn't allow the "monied interests" to defeat him. Looks like we have a ball game now.

All the sites like NR and Drudge and Coulter are going to talk about how this means Newt is going socialist and engaging in class warfare. The problem is, conservative Tea Partiers have been saying for years that the wealthy northeastern establishment has been using compassionate-sounding big government rhetoric to give themselves taxpayer money under the table, and get special contracts from government programs that help no one except the contracters, and special de facto regulatory-crafted monopolies. All of these things grow the size and scope of government and destroy our nation's fiscal situation.
