Retiring congressman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) will marry his longtime partner, Jim Ready.
Frank and Ready plan to wed in Massachusetts. Frank's home state is one of six states, in addition to the District of Columbia, that permits gay marriage.
Frank announced in November that he would be retiring from Congress after 16 terms to pursue other opportunities. In 1987, Frank disclosed that he was gay, becoming the first openly gay member of Congress.

One consolidated name; Frankenready.
My husband and I have a gay (happy) marriage.
This is a perverted homosexual travesty, not gay, and not a marriage, no matter how stupid the laws are in Massachusetts, other states, and DC.
“Dick’s Sporting Goods.”
Your answer was voted the winner. Congratulations.
Talk about a marriage made in hell.
LOL!!!
This is going to be almost as much fun as last spring’s Weiner debacle.
>>Ready and Frank have known each other since they met in 2005 at a fundraiser in Maine, and began a relationship in January of 2007 after Ready’s partner died.
No word what Ready’s partner died of...
It’s about time he made an honest woman out of himself.
Disgusting sodomites.
Isn’t it just?

“Barney, you’re times up...It’s time for someone new. If you don’t like the new guy you can vote him out in 2 years.
Barney has forgotten who he works for. I’m sick and tired of Barney treating people like idiots.”
An ad for Sean Bielat, 2010. Republican ran against Frank
(giving him his first real challenge in years) and he’s running again. Probably Dem opponent: Joe Kennedy III. Really.
Frank decided against running again partially because conservative towns were added to his district and partially because even if he won, it wouldn’t be fun if GOP controlled the House. Maybe Bielat’s relatively strong showing helped to convince him it was time.
Why is it that no one, and I mean no one calls the media on this misrepresentation of the truth? The narrative that they use is so patently untrue and it is intentionally misleading.
A given state may not recognize gay marriage, but they have nothing to say about permission. Anyone anywhere can get married to anyone else in the US, it really doesn't matter what either party's gender is. You can have the service and be married, but it may not be recognized as far as certain government benefits are concerned (i.e. tax breaks and getting a signed marriage license, etc...).
It really doesn't matter because all of the other legal rights can be codified if one wants to take the time to do so (living wills, power of attorney, etc).
“I must go down-town tomorrow
First thing: a special engagement.”
“What’s happening?” “Need you ask?”
I’m going to a wedding. Old So-and-so’s got his boy-friend
To the altar at last....”

There’s nothing new under the sun.
oops should say YOUR time’s up
Is it true that Rachel Maddow has agreed to serve as Best Man?
“No word what Readys partner died of...”
I heard that he died in a car accident. He was rear ended.
Then I realize these people have no fear of God. The media has brainwashed people into believing there is no god or God is ok with this. I just pray that if God is going to punish this nation, please make it surgical. We must pray for this nation to be restored to what the founding fathers intended or lose it to evil.
The beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord.
If people think gay marriage, abortion even up to 9months in the womb is ok, they don't believe in or fear God. If there is no God then anything goes. Pedophiles and all other pervert don't have to hold back. Who's to judge?
