Americans today don’t understand the absolute chaos of Germany in the 1920s that led to Nazism; it is no excuse for what transpired, but explains a lot towards how it happened. If we had Obama fans strangling Iraq and Afghanistan veterans with their ribbons, and worse unemployment than the US during OUR Depression, dollars that lost value by the HOUR, you can bet your bottom dollar we’d have a vibrant Nazi party. As it is, the desperation of our poor is demonstrated that Barack Obama is in the White House - they are our “Red mobs” in 1920 Weimar, who are seeking a complete redistribution of wealth.
From The earliest days as a street fighter until his death, Hitler thought he was the chosen leader the world was waiting for and the one to lead the world toward the new order. Thats world domination as a goal for me.
He may have believed people could be won over; his actions in terms of violent struggle indicate he knew there was no hope of gaining it by war. He actually wanted peace with Britain, but they wouldn’t cooperate.
Today we can see his dream fulfilled in a post-Christian European Union led by Germany.
