Most types of vegetable oil I might agree with, but if you’re still frying with good old lard then I can’t believe it isn’t going to kill you eventually.
Just like in the movie City Slickers when Curly died - “The man ate bacon three meals a day... You just can’t DO that!”
But man does it taste good...

Lard is a monosaturated oil — just like olive oil.
But unlike olive oil, lard does not break down under high temperatures shen used in cooking.
