My old man was WWII Airborne in Europe. They didn’t like the SS very much. When they captured them (especially in the Ardennes after what the bastards did to our guys at Malmedy-Baugnez), they did just that. Extracted whatever information they’d give up, then extracted their life from them.
And left the corpses to ROT where they fell.
That’s how you win a war. Not punishing a couple of grunts for pissing on muzz bodies.
