This is nothing new, as campaigns have been paying people to become active for years now. And it is not illegal, as far as I know. There's nothing wrong with paying someone to help spread a message. However, it does show the limited motivations within the Romney campaign. There is not much grassroots here in South Florida if people have to be paid to get out and spread a critical message about the future of this country.

There isn’t enough money to buy grassroots excitement for Romney. Even his diehard supporters in the Republican media have a difficult time believing in him.

Well now Romney did compare his private business success to Obama’s auto bailout.. And there was that ‘cash for clunkers’ component... Makes sense to me that given Romney praises Obama’s business techniques he would be spreading ‘cash’. Could even be called ‘job creation’. I am sure all income is being properly reported.

The Mormons are the ones he doesn’t HAVE to pay to support him.
