While the president spoke about the economic frustrations of average Americans in his State of the Union address Tuesday night, his wife, Michelle Obama appeared at the event in a sapphire blue dress from designer Barbara Tfank’s 2012 Resort collection, estimated to cost over $2k.
The first lady’s press office, however is mum on dress, telling The Daily Caller that they will not offer comment “as of right now.”
Tfanks, a West Coast designer, recently described the dress as “a criss cross bodice cap-sleeved slim dress in silk twill,” to The Hollywood Reporter.

I finally found a photo of her in the dress and Wow! What an ugly dress! It does nothing for her shape, it’s rather shapeless, yet allows her shape to bulge uncontrollably under it with no feminine definition of her figure. And one particular bulge actually makes me wonder if she’s pregnant? She has a bit of a pouch sticking out there or is it a baby bump? That would be a way to garner votes for her husband wouldn’t it? She would be expecting the first American black baby to be born in the White House. Oh no.. there goes the election...Hope I’m wrong and she just had a large dinner.
That cost 2K? My mother had one very similar to that back in the 60s and I can guarantee it didn’t cost anywhere near that because we didn’t have money to waste.

She’s the type that will take it back to the store and demand her money back even though it has armpit stains and Cheetos powder down the front. The taxpayer bought it originally, but she’ll pocket the refund.
No matter what you dress her in, how many expensive wigs you put on her and despite the makeup experts she hires, she’s never going to look like anything but a quarterback in drag.
