I can't tell if Romney is really this stupid or if Newt is baiting him.

It might be both. Newt seems to be taking his campaign "outside the box"; a good thing, IMO. He needs to defeat R0mney, then he needs to defeat both the Leftist Media and Barry Hussein. This will not be accomplished by politics as usual. Much as I like Santorum, and I'm glad he's running, I seriously doubt that he will be the nominee or that he should be. Newt is a street fighter. Santorum is not.

Another thing too is that with Newt's grasp of history (of the history of presidential campaigns and then some) he knows many tricks that have worked before. And with his knowledge of how new technology is changing history, he is able to employ his grasp of history in the out of the box ways you mention.

And another thing (if that weren't enough), Newt is unflappable and even seems to enjoy this process...unlike Romney, who seems not to be having any fun.

Exactly......Newt said from the get go his campaign would not be traditional or the conventional... and there would be twists and turns along the way. We see that is so. So in doing this the media and the democrates never quite know what Newt's next moves might be, which is exactly how "fights" are won....and this Primary IS a fight with all those you have stated...it is not just against Romeny it's so far more than that.....

Santorum is a short legged puppy in very tall grass. Newt knows that even if he defeats the 'rats and their whorehouse media allies, he still will have to defeat the gop establishment. He is the only one who understands this apparently.
