Surging since his South Carolina Republican presidential primary win, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich wipes out a 12-point lead by Mitt Romney to tie the former Massachusetts governor in Florida, according to a Quinnipiac University poll release today. The final tally is 36 percent for Romney to 34 percent for Gingrich among likely voters in the Florida Republican presidential primary, but Gingrich gets 40 percent to 34 percent for Romney among likely voters surveyed after the South Carolina primary. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum receives 13 percent to 10 percent for Texas U.S. Rep. Ron Paul.
“What worries me is the stupid early voting. I think Newt needs to win by at least 5 to offset it.”
Well, in all but name he is running against the Democrat.
“I think that Santorum is delirious and truly believes that he can capture the nomination. Just a guess, but if he ever dropped out, I think hed likely endorse Romney.”
If Romney were nominated he would HAVE to pick an apparently conservative running mate, in a poor imitation of the McCain - Palin ticket. I hate to say it, but Santorum strikes me as someone small enough to take that bait if it has been offered or even hinted at.
Hannity just misquoted this poll. He flipped the numbers for likely voter poll. “40% for Romney and Gingrich 34%”.

The attack lhasa apso for compassionate conservatism.
I am not surprised about the ‘accident’.
CNN just released new poll that they say shows Romney leading.
“The last debate pricked a hole in Gingrichs bubble.
I think Freddie Mac Gingrich has peaked and is going down.”
Waiting for Steiner’s division I see.
No doubt. They will say that until they no longer can.
