Hank
PING TO ME so I will read tomorrow!
Byron York has come through pretty good for Newt Gingrich and by that I mean, he’s been fair.
Did you see my post to you about your older posts? I linked you back to Jan. 2011.
Thank you for posting this. Based upon what some people post it is painfully obvious the Jon Stewart media has them up to their eyeballs in deception. Ann Coulter you should know better. And people bash Newt for having an 'ego'. There are few among US that could have survived what Newt withstood.
for later
Newt was palinized 15 years ago.
NOTHING. THAT’S WHAT.
I need to make a bullet point presentation that makes it easy for others to understand without getting a Phd
Nice!!
For forty years the Democrats held power. The Republicans occasionally were thrown a bone, given cover and some pork to keep their constituents quiet. Meanwhile the congress was enriching themselves at the expense of the nation. The centralized government kept growing and growing
In 1980 Ronald Reagan is elected President. Newt Gingrich, elected in 1978, jointed with others to ally with President Reagan and build the Reagan Coalition, the Religious Right, and the Republican majority - the Reagan Revolution - which directly led to the downfall of the Soviet Union, the Contract with America, government reforms, less government, tax cuts, a balanced budget, and the great, long-standing Reagan economy
Gingrich becomes Speaker of the House. Budget cuts, less pork. For the first time in a very long time the Republicans actually had to govern and take responsibility. The Dems were outnumbered.
The 1998 budget was scheduled for a $1 Billion cut and congress saw the gravy train leaving the station. No more getting rich at the publics expense.
So it became get rid of Newt Gingrich even to the extent of manufacturing lies about him. Those phony ethics charges that were ALL dropped. They smeared him then and continue to do so.
And now, older and wiser, he is back. And the corrupt in Washington, D.C., are AGAIN trying to save the status quo.
The question is, what are WE going to do?
This coming election is increidibly important. Please take the time to link to the following, understand what is happening, and who is behind it:
WALL STREET INSIDER: California

A longtime Wall Street Insider details the still very much alive and kicking Shorebank, the growing Solyndra scandal, and the globalization goals of the Obama White House.
Yes, mittens is a false conservative in many ways...
Ping for ammo.
I had -NO IDEA- that the Gingrich ethics case was a charge that his “Renewing American Civilization” course, was supposedly partisan political activity, and not a true college course!
I watched that on TV in the 90s! It was an amazing course,, i’d like to see it again. Coulter and Romney can go F themselves. They had to know what this case was about, about the nature of the course, and are STILL using it to smear Newt.
I swear by all thats holy,, i will NEVER vote for Mitt for this one treachery alone. And Horseface Coulter might as well switch teams. Im done with them both. Before this, i was for Newt, but still ABO in the fall if it was Romney. But now,, no Mitt, NO way,,Period. The freakin low life.
I dont know if Newt has it in him to admit that he was/is hated for being too clever. Too clever and so likely to let people know that he was the smartest guy in the room. John Adams hated Hamilton for much the same reason. Adams was indeed a better man, but he suffered from envy for a man who was so unlike himself, made Adams feel like someone with two-left feet, and probably responsible for freezing him out of the Washington cabinet. Adams should have known that the Vice-presidency was not for him. Not only was it a mere after-thought of the election process, but it made him the heir-apparent. In Europe, the heir was studiously excluded from the councils of state, least he develop his own party in opposition to the throne. Adams was obviously deeply hurt by his exclusion and blamed hamilton for the plot to deny him re-election in 1792.

... famous for playing the dim-witted Cooter in the popular 1980s TV show The Dukes of Hazzard...
And the usual beltway main stream media BS.
Dan Rather began the cBS Evening News by telling viewers that "only now is the evidence of Newt Gingrich's ethics violations and tax problems being disclosed in detail."
The story was much different when Gingrich was exonerated. The Washington Post ran a brief story on page five. The Times ran an equally brief story on page 23. And the evening newscasts of CBS, NBC, and ABC -- which together had devoted hours of coverage to the question of Gingrich's ethics -- did not report the story at all. Not a word."
I also remember at the time that they were giving Gingrich BS about a book he wrote that they said was against the "DC ethics" at the time. About making money off his position in government.
Excellent
The Gingrich case was extraordinarily complex, intensely partisan, and driven in no small way by a personal vendetta on the part of one of Gingrich's former political opponents.
No. It wasn't partisan, it was just portrayed by the meida that way. The GOP elites allied themselves with their like-minded statist dems to take Newt down.
And they're trying to do it again. Will we let them succeed? All that is at stake is our nation...
I hate when pubbies step down for stupid reasons.
See Delay, Trent Lott, ect.
Ping for inclusion in Gingrich Apologetics Reference Library.
I must bump this one for any who might have overlooked.
What happened to Newt was replayed with Sarah Palin. Both were the victims of a political attack based upon trumped up charges that drove them out of office. It is good that Newt got this issue raised by Willard. If Newt plays it right he can use it to club the stuffing out of this deceiver and sharpen it to a fine point to skewer Zer0 if he tries to use it against him.
