I really don't understand this way of thinking. If people don't want Romney, they sure as heck won't want Bush. You think the Occupy crowd are going to rally around Bush? You think that all these moderates and independents that Romney is supposed to have sewn up in the general election are going to support Bush? You just had 19 debates and a year of campaigning and you're going to call it a do-over? Jeb Bush's biggest support is in Florida, and he could barely deliver that to his own brother in the year 2000.
How about admitting that the nomination process is fatally flawed and come up with a new one that doesn't involve perpetually sucking up to the voters of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida every 4 years? The freaking American Idol is chosen through a more rational process than the President Of The United States. How about something like the NCAA tournament, where you get 64 different candidates from around the country and they battle it out in regional contests until you get a final four, and then chose one of the four at the actual convention? Or how about letting states that actually voted for the Republican in the last election choose the Republican candidate in the next election?

The "Establishment" doesn't care what "we the people" want--they have their base of power and they sure as heck don't want Newt to bring it down around them.
At least that's what I get from all the talk of "panic" amongst the Rinos and the "old guard".
Romney doesn't scare them at all--he is "one of their own".
That Newt is NOT has its best case made--not by Newt--but by the establishment's acting so scared of him that they are looking for a "new" candidate, and using the "Newt can't win" meme to cover their fear.

If people don't want Romney, they sure as heck won't want Bush. No kidding! And if I hear anymore about Mitch Daniels I'm gonna puke! That's the guy that bad mouthed Reagan and is such a puss he can't even handle his own wife. Not to mention he's short, bald, and uninspiring!

The biggest flaw in the current process, is the lack of talented people willing to face the onslaught of the media, comedians, and the billion dollar Obama machine.
Anyone who tossed their hat in the ring, has a certain amount of respect from me. Like Newt said, all this nasty stuff the LSM does/the Alinsky tactics, makes it difficult get good people to even be interested in public service.
The way I feel, is I'll stick with the flawed candidates we have rather than the cowards who took a pass.
