Newt should be able to handle any debate format. They’re not going to want to help Newt and it gives the impression that they’ve found a weakness.

Oh yeah, the media isn’t going to miss their chance.
Imagine how they would use it in a debate between Gingrich and Obama. Standing O for everything Obama says and a cricket chirping at everything Gingrich says.
