Love it. The mask is off and the fangs are out on nasty little Lord Fauntleroy.

Funny what a difference a week makes.
Romney’s team, said they were going to attack Obama.
Looks like they have changed their tune... a 180.

Newt was not given the opportunity to be the leader. Newt earned it because he personally conceived and designed and planned the 1994 GOP victory, when no one else thought it was possible. A strategy that Romney by the way personally disavowed. It wasn’t like he just showed up and they gave it to him like he won a raffle or something.

What has Romney ever won for the party?

Also, Newt should point out that at the end of Romney’s 4 yrs as Gov his approval rating was 34% and the GOP lost the Governorship for the 1st time in 12 yrs to Deval Patrick, the guy whose campaign was the test drive for Obama 2008. Romney was so unpopular in MA he had no shot winning reelection and hurt his party in the legislature as well.

Hopefully someone gets these facts to Newt. He needs to use them to oush back and evsicerate Romney.

NBC is making it Romney’s show. Oh gosh, they don’t have an agenda. Right?

Mitt is flinging poo. He just isn’t credible in a fight. He needs to find himself another hobby, one other than politics. He just doesn’t have it.

Go home Mitt.

Romney’s problem is not Newt...he will not gain much by attacking Newt.

Romney’s problem is that everyone thinks he is too Establishment.

He needs to recognize the gravity of our problems and the level of change necessary to fix them. Politics as usual — Establishment politics — is not going to cut it. He has not, for example, come out against crony capitalism and the corruptness of our political system.

Instead of attacking Newt, he should *convincingly* and *sincerely* fight against the Establishment.

Until he does this, he will continue to get 25 to 30%.

.

What am I missing??? Where’s the debate? It said NBC, but I have it on out of San Francisco, and there’s NO debate.

Mitt has made a serious mistake tonight. He went after Gingrich with an emotional intensity he has not directed toward Obama. Why? Because he feels more comfortable with Obama than Newt. This move makes it clear that he is not a conservative, and when he must he will attack the conservative more aggressively than the liberal. Mitt will lose because he showed his true colors.

Mitt Romney dropped the gloves within minutes of the outset of tonight's Republican presidential debate, assailing main rival Newt Gingrich as an unreliable conservative...

See?
And you thought Romney has no sense of humor!

When Rush Limbaugh or Mark Levin are the moderators at the Democrat debates will be the day I begin watching debates again.

Brian Williams our moderator? How stupid is the RNC? I know the answer but still can’t believe the RNC is dumber then a circular firing squad at the bottom of a propane tank.

RomNey looks dead and wooden even with his attacks on Newt.

Newt and Mitt was cut off by Williams when they were going at it.

“Takes it to Newt”? Sounds more like a sissy kid doing a nanny-nanny-nanny-I-saw-your-aunty’s-fanny taunt on some other kid on the schoolyard.

It was pathetic; but very typical.

Keep it up Romney. Your scorch earth policy will assure an Obama re-election.

Of course, that was the plan all along when the “establishment” decided to run you for President.

I guess beauty really IS in the eye of the beholder.

Romney DID attack Newt, and I thought Newt stood his ground pretty well, pointed out that Mitt’s accusations were a mishmash of errors. I don’t think Mitt was able to draw any blood.

"The speaker was given the opportunity to be the leader of our party in 1994. And at the end of four years, he had to resign in disgrace," Romney said.

Resign in disgrace? The push to get Newt out of the way was a coordinatewd effort by Nazi Pelozi and the GOP. Nazi wanted the House and the Speaker's job. The GOP wanted Newt out so they could spend like Democrats to buy votes. We expect Nazi to do what she did. What the GOP did was reprehensible.

Remember Newt was initially replaced by Bob Livingston. He was a friend of Newt. The GOP got rid of him because he had an affair, and installed Dennis Hastert as Speaker. Hastert presided over the GOP spending spree that eventually gave Nazi Pelozi what she wanted by running fake conservatives.

Willard sounds like a spoiled brat. He is accustomed to buying what he wants and feels entitled to the presidency. We have a president now who feels much the same way. We do not need another privileged character in the White House.

Romney is acting childish and vindictive and I don’t think he scored at all. He keeps pandering to the people of Florida forgetting the rest of the nation is watching and waiting for him to attack Obamas poicies.

He also said he would not go on the attack and accused Newts team of putting out negative ads. Newt denied it and Romney kept making the same charge. Didn’t Romney deny his attack ads? Why does he feel it’s okay for him to deny them but wrong if Newt does. Romney is a liar and hypocrit.

Tonight Romney showed what kind of president he would be. Another Obama!

Romney needs to take Viagra before a debate so we can watch him grow taller as He's speaking.

To me, after this was over-Newt came across as more presidential.

Romney comes across as really trying really really hard to connect.
