All four remaining GOP candidates have been confirmed for tonight's debate sponsored by NBC News, the Tampa Bay Times, The National Journal and the Florida Council of 100. The debate will take place at the University of South Florida in Tampa. This will be the first of 2 debates this week focusing on the Florida GOP primary on Tuesday, January 31st. Note the air times on the east and west coast.
Television Air Time: Monday, January 23rd at 9pm ET, 8pm CT and 9pm PT on NBC
Live Streams: (airing 9pm ET) NBCPolitics.com, National Journal, and TampaBay.com

That was all set up to give Mitt his attack Newt time...unlimited. I don’t look for a Gingrich/Romney ticket ;)

Romney and Gingrich have baggage. It’s not too impressive to see these two going ‘round and ‘round. Our best candidates are gone. I think Gingrich is the best of the bunch but can he survive (the bad stuff of) his past? I don’t think he’s really straightforwardly answering the issues his opponents are bringing up. I don’t like the answer of “Well, the American people can see through these accusations.” That was a Cain response instead of being straightforward and meeting these charges head on. If they’re true than man up and explain or convince us about a genuine change of heart.
I'm in Connecticut - my Cox Cable on-screen guide says "Fear Factor" on NBC - 9-10pm ET, but hour-long the Brian Williams debate is running.

Why do the republicans agree to have debates with these liberals??
I can't either, but other than incorrectly assigning Santorum with remarking about Romney's "capitalism," I'm pleasantly surprised with the tone of the moderator.
Agree that he's been more focused on the personal attacks, but most of the personal attacks between the candidates are on matters of policy substance.
I wonder how much of the public will become aware of how big a liar Romney is.

Newt is energized by the audience response and really shines under those circumstances. NBC will not allow this to happen.
People wont care. Newt needs to move forward and go back to attacking Obama and the elites.
Newt to Brian ..... Brian, this is a circular firing squad and while I know you & NBC want to see a cage match between me and Gov. Romney, we are big boys & will deal with each other on our own time and our own dimes. YOU need to act like a moderator and start asking questions about the issues killing the American people under the Obama regime ... how about lets talk about Keystone for starters???? (audience gives standing ‘O’). That would end the ‘coma debate’ IMHO
