Even while on leave you carry your DOD ID Card which include your rank and branch of service.
The NY Police had this document in their hands - why else did Navy Medicos show to interview him so quickly?
As for telling the arresting team he is a SEAL - it was their own safety. SERE training, at any level, is a real b**ch and it gives you reflexes that are dangerous to others. Me thinks the arresting team up and including their Captain need to speed some time at Coronado getting acquainted with what it takes to be a SEAL. Say BUDS and hell week?
Average cop wouldn’t even be given a blank application form to fill out.
Forget about a week of reality. They wouldn’t pass aphone interview.
Good post. I’m thinking that now that the SEAL has had a trip to Bellevue, and the Navy says he’s going to be treated for PTSD, does that mean he can no longer possess a gun?
Are you nuts? Have you been to SERE? This guy was showboating.
