If the first thing he is going to do is to sit down with his attorneys, that would mean rolling over and going back to sleep for the next 4 hours, getting up, getting dressed and perhaps an hours prep before having the meeting and breakfast at 09:00.
Assuming one was not incinerated into radioactive ash at some point during the intervening six hours.

Call his prophet Thomas S. Monson of course because the LDS believe that God will do nothing without telling the prophet first (taking the Bible out of context).
I’m serious - he would call SLC.
He has to sleep in his magic underwear.
That is PERFECT!
WWJSD-—What would Joseph Smith do?
Do any of these clowns have a realistic picture of what goes on in the White House. (I’m not counting Newt as a clown.) The president has a bevy of advisers whose job is to keep him (or her) alerted to situations and options, and gets a running start under the previous president’s tutelage. (Though I don’t know how well Obama could tolerate Gingrich. Obama may throw Gingrich to the advisers and take a powder himself.) Stuff like this would be thought out well ahead of time, though there would seldom be only one option that could make sense.
WWJSD?
Don a fresh pair of magic underwear and pray?
Mitt would organize a committee to discuss all aspects.
Call former presidents Bush and Carter
Talk to his chief of staff
Consult with his wife.
Pray mighty hard.
then act ... your guess is as good as mine.
Hair spray. More hair spray.
As I recall, that's what Ray Nagin did all Saturday as Katrina was bearing down on the city - seeing if New Orleans had the legal authority to call for a mandatory evacuation.
Note to Nagin and Romney - you figure out that kind of stuff long BEFORE the need arises. What corporate pinheads.
Romney would kick ass just like everyone who is running except Paul.
No I messed up. He’s one a dem mormoms. :)
