“Something that sounds like it makes sense like, ‘Mitt Romney doesn’t have influence over his super PAC — that makes you wonder if he’ll have influence as president,’” she continued. “How many times does Mitt Romney have to say it is illegal for a candidate to have influence on the super PAC.”

So she’s lying and it IS legal for a candidate to have influence on the Super-Pac?

Yes, she's lying. She knows the deal but she's saying things that are not true in an attempt to sway weak minds.

It is illegal for Romney to sit down with his super PAC and strategize.
It is illegal for Romney to collaborate with the super PAC.
It is illegal for Romney's team to do these things.

BUT Romney could say, into a mic, at an open event (such as a debate) that he abhors these ads, does not like these ads, and feels that these ads hurt him and hurt the GOP. He could make a public plea for the super PAC to stop.

That's not illegal at all. You see -- he CAN influence them.
