Yeah, she’s really done a turn around and has turned conservatives off. But, Ann’s always liked her ‘face time’ and flipping her hair around, etc. She was never a big favorite of mine - even though I have two of her books from way back.
If the nominee is apparent at that time, the Iowa delegates will overwhelmingly support him.
If the same four are still in contention, the breakdown MIGHT be something like Romney 14, Santorum 10, Paul 4, although I think Iowa will have a few more than 28 delegates.

I was listening to a rebroadcast of LI show from Friday, and she kept asking the audience, “what if Newt or Rick don’t do well, shoudl one of them drop out”? I guess she figured Mittens was a done deal.

I have to say Ann lost me during the whole Harriet Miers debacle. Now she may have been right on this issue but her completely hysterical meltdown on radio was a revelation to me. That combined with her refusal to change her appearance for over twenty years has convinced me that she has “issues”. Highly intelligent fer sure, but neurotic.

Coulter is probably right about this.
* Newt can’t force Obama to debate him.
* Obama is a dirty campaigner he will wont even honor his own pledges. So even if Newt could convince him to promus to debate he wouldn’t.
* Obama already has a Gigantic Campaign fund(due to his goverment “investment” in his friends). Obama can afford to bombard any republic with ad from a safe distance.
* Newt may be the General Lee of debaters & strategist, but hes playing out numbered against modern weapons.
* Obama won’t even pretend to respect and play fair with Newt unlike Mitt. Obama is a dirty two timing lair we know this form his presidency and his first campaign.
What makes you think he will play any different this time?
All the evident to date would suggest that Newt would get totally owed by Obama’s gigantic perceptual campaign machine. Obama will be able to paint him as Adoft Hitler himself if he wants. Because Newt will not be able to say anything at all period.

Hes right, like it or not money & organization matters supremely. If newt can’t build a war-chest and organization to rival Obama’s he will get creamed.
Obama will take everything that is worse about our elections and uses it against Newt. Truth & lies, fact or fiction, do not matter with the money & media game Obama will play. What matter is what the people hear and see. That will be what Obama pays to put on their screen and bring to their doors.
The most infuriating thing about all of this will be that Obama will, true to form, be denouncing everything he’s doing all the while as if he wasn’t doing it at all.
She has tossed her hat in Mitten’s ring—like many others. Now she is forced to defend her man—her choice. She wins if Newt becomes the nominee and loses, or if he is ran out of the race by the MSM, or a reviorated Mittens. She only loses if Newt wins the race—then she will lose big and have to get a job on the MSNBC network.
That was not the intent of the original poster, so I don’t know why you feel you had to explain his motives.
Besides, Mittwit , if the nominee, will have the organization and money that you tout so highly and guess what?
And he’ll get HIS ass kicked.
