Thanks, Nachum.
More proof that 0bama is pure evil.
I am Barak Hussein Obama...The Dumb ass US President who will forever be known for blocking the Canadian Pipeline.
It will be my shameful epitaph.
I am sending this video to more people. Very clearly explains why Obama is nuts.
Whether obama meant it or not, he may have been right when he said within ten years we would cut out saudi and vuvuzelan oil.
Four years will have gone by with no such action on his part, but President Gingrich will make sure it’s done.
he wants the money from the envirowackos and the oil guys, what a quandry. his only interest is his pocket book.
Obama hates America so much I don’t doubt he would starve the American people by banning farming. I believe he hates this country that much.

While doing great damage to the US. He has best of both worlds.
Save these pictures for October and $5/gal gasoline.

This is the blog of Vivian Krause and contains a lot of the research that Ezra Levant is basing his comments on. For 5 years now she has been researching the role huge US foundations have been using for the TIDES USA and TIDES Canada foundations to channel millions of dollars into a multitude of other environmentalist organizations specifically targeting First Nations groups to get them to prevent building pipelines like Keystone and the Enbridge pipeline to the west coast of BC. among other projects that affect the British Columbian and Albertan industries and economies.
Read her articles listed along the side. This is the big story that no one is writing about or talking about. These groups involve the huge funders of 0’s and other Democrat’s campaigns. Most people hear that the “environmentalist’s” don’t like the pipelines and the media show us some short video of groups of usually young people protesting somewhere or some meeting with some native group talking about how they just want to preserve their hunting and fishing for salmon and picking berries for canning for the winter, preserving their traditional way of life for their future generations. Many people are very sympathetic to that kind of talk. They don’t realize these enormous activist organizations are out there stirring up people, often giving them money and steering them more and more into supporting their far left goals and plans.
Last night I decided to check out one particular tribe that was mentioned in some news article. That led me to a native group in north central B.C. When I went to their website I found it had a very nicely organized newsletter and I decided to read the one for January-February 2011. It had tons of information about their community happenings and available jobs and lots of health and parenting advice and recipes etc. However I hardly got started looking at it and there was a big ad for a coming meeting with two guest speakers: Beth Wallace of the National Wildlife Federation (US and Beth is now working in Washington DC), speaking on the environmental situation of the Enbridge crude oil spill in the Kalamazoo River in 2010 and the other speaker was an Erin O’Brien representing the Wisconsin Wetlands Association. The ad directed people to friendsofwildsalmon.ca which is probably associated with the anti-salmon farming lobbyists—another issue. If BC or Albertan First Nations groups want to hear these kind of talks they have every right to invite in these kind of speakers. But the fact that the influence of such groups representing enormous foreign interests and foreign money going for the most part unnoticed by the public at large because the media has been mostly silent or negligent is very disturbing to me especially since these kinds of groups are all so closely tied in with 0’s plans to “fundamentally transform America.”
After looking at all of this and Ezra’s talking about 0 preferring to get oil from anti-American enemies in South America and the Middle East rather than friendly old Canada, the “insanity” of blocking the Keystone made perfect sense to me. This is the story that needs to get told.
Damn Canadians, eh?
Well I think it's the EPA that is now taxing farmers for dust in the air, then there's the DOE that taxes or refuses to have the small gas tanks for farmers trucks on farms that used to be sold wholesale back in the day( Before 2008?) oh and about 300 more regulations that tell the country farmer to take a hike. Also there's the methane problem with livestock farts, seems that hasn't been taxed yet but I hear it's coming down the line( pun intended).
Probably not telling you anything you don't know, but governments have actually fallen on pipeline issues. There was a huge pipeline debate in Canada in the mid 1950's over the route of a gas pipeline that was to bring Alberta gas to eastern Canada. Anyway the government of the day invoked cloture over the pipeline debate and that act basically caused the government to fall.
Three postscripts, lots of irony. There was a huge debate over the route of the pipeline, the shortest route ran through the USA, which needed US regulatory approval. Also, the builders (hated American "interests") needed a government loan to build the pipeline. Finally, the Canadian politician in charge of the bill was C.D. Howe, born and raised in Massachusetts, an American. How ironic is this?
Anyway, the line got built, the loans got paid off and C.D. Howe was defeated in his own riding. You might want to look him up on Wiki, he was very important in the war effort and is credited with the growth of manufacturing in Canada in the mid 20th century.
One final irony, today the C.D. Howe Institute is the leading Canadian conservative think tank. C.D. Howe, a businessman, and American by birth, was a member of the liberal party of Canada.
