Girl Scouts will no longer be able to meet at a local church because of a connection with Planned Parenthood.
Several Girl Scout troops in Chantilly, Virginia have been banned from meeting at a local Catholic church and a neighboring school.
St. Timothy Catholic Church says that scouts won’t be allowed to meet or wear their uniforms on church property. The edict also applies to the adjacent St. Timothy School, which enrolls students from preschool to eighth grade.
The decision stems from what the church calls an affiliation with Planned Parenthood by the Girl Scouts parent organization, The World Association of Girl Guides.
A spokesman for the diocese released a statement that says in part:
“Every pastor in the diocese has the responsibility to determine how best to use their parish facilities, consider the requests of outside groups, and reconcile such requests with the needs and mission of their parish community.”
The regional girl scouts council says it will make sure the troops affected can find a new home.

Honestly, I forgot about the Levi boycott although I might have only bought one or two pairs of Dockers in the past ten years or so.
Unfortunately, the Girl Scouts are very, very different from the Boy Scouts.
This may me the most important lesson the scouts will learn.

You could make a donation directly to the co-worker’s daughter’s troop so they don’t have to share the funds with the regional council or national hq. A lil intra-office good will.

The girl scouts have been taken over by radical feminists and lesbians for years. Not at the troop level but the national hq. It’s an open secret.
They’re tough. Passive aggressive feminists using their daughters to contribute. Trying to use you manipulatively. That’s how it works.
BSA parents would not put up with it.
Any cgood children’s group now is going to be infiltrated and tempted. the truth will prevail ultimately, perhaps not soon.
What are parents doing sellling this in the workplace to begin with?

Yes I was out early last night....sorry. I can be such a loser at times.
If you sign up for a free membership at www.womenofgrace.com, you have access to the radio podcasts from each day. So, since I work & can’t listen live at 11 a.m., I download them at night and then listen from my laptop or iPhone. I also DVR her TV show but usually save that for the weekends.
