Free Republic is all in for Newt and the rebellion is on!!
I'm understanding from his debates and his website that Newt wants to totally dismantle the Marxist/socialist welfare state, fire the czars, repeal ObamaCare, repeal Dodd-Frank, repeal Sarbanes Oxley, privatize social security and medicare, return all federal socialist welfare programs to the states and the people to be controlled locally or shuttered, audit and neuter the Fed, fire Bernanke, fire the EPA, shutter the federal departments of Health, Education, Energy, Housing, Commerce, Labor, Welfare etc, etc, drastically cut the government, cut the bureaucracy, cut the regulations, cut the taxes, cut the deficit, reduce unemployment, restore jobs, restore manufacturing, industry, energy production, restore the constitutional balance of powers between the branches and between the feds and the states and the people, rein in the liberal activist judiciary, restore states rights and restore our God-given unalienable individual rights and stop the slaughter of the innocent unborn!!
In short, to set our people free to produce, prosper and enjoy the fruits of their own labor, ie, restore our constitution and God-given unalienable rights to Life, Liberty and the PURSUIT of Happiness!!
And I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically endorse and join with Newt in this rebellion for a restoration of our constitutionally limited government, our states rights and our individual rights!!
We the people are the sovereigns. Government derives its just powers at the consent of the governed. Whenever any form of Government becomes destructive to our God-given Liberty, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness!!
I pray that we are doing the right thing for God, Country and Liberty and believe that we are. We must retake control of our government and our Liberty from our Godless liberal establishment and wannabe rulers, overseers and dictators!!
We must leave a stronger, freer, more prosperous America for our children and grandchildren.
Securing the Blessings of Liberty for ourselves and our posterity is our duty and our mission!!

Getting tired of the electibility argument. The same people who keep telling us Newt is out of the race when his staff quit on him and then when he sunk in Iowa are the same people who keep telling us he can’t win in the General. They can’t predict the SC primary a week before, but they think they can predict an election 11 months from now. Here’s a list of media who I think they want based on the way they speak of them.
Charles Krauthammer - Romney
Karl Rove - Strong Romney
Juan Williams - Romney now, but Obama in General
Megan Kelly - Strong Romney
Brit Hume - Romney, strongly against Newt
Steven Hayes - Slightly favoring Newt
Sean Hannity - Newt
Sarah Palin - Newt (Who is she kidding?)
Rush Limbaugh - Newt or Santorum, but more closer to Newt
Mark Levin - Santorum, but will move to Newt
Brett Bair - Seems pretty neutral and probably wants this to just continue
Chris Wallace - Romney, but wants it to continue
John King - Romney, but Obama later
David Gergens - Obama
Wolf Blitzer - Obama
Piers Morgan - Favoring Newt
Any Republicans on CNN - Romney
Anybody on MSNBC - Obama
O’Reilly - Trying to be neutral and will take either Romney or Newt.
Dick Morris - Completely wrong about SC. Said Romney would win because Santorum would take votes away from Newt because of Santorum’s debate. Probably as a political junkie, wants Newt and Romney to go down to the wire and take this into April.
Anytime you listen to these people, it has to be under the assumption that they favor these people. Anybody want to add anyone to the list or have a disagreement on my list. Thanks.

These guys don’t get it. If you can’t win on the issues, then they’re going to go back and hit him personally.
I guess Romney forgot that Newt was running a positive campaign until after Iowa in response to the millions of dollars of negative ads.
Newt gave it back to him double, and sunk his candidacy. Now Romney thinks he can man handle Newt into digging out the private Ethics Violation hearings.
Fat chance.
I still want to see the two debating. I want to see this play out. I want to see Newt winning Michigan, Nevada...even UTah...

How many among us have not been disappointed Palinites, Cainites, Perryites, or even (bless their hearts) Huntsmanites?
Conservatism works "every time it's tried," and we simply must elect conservatives to serve our country. There is no question that without them, we will perish as a nation and as the Shining City on a Hill.
When Speaker Gingrich asks the American people, "Are you better off today than four years ago," he should be met with a resounding chorus of, "DUH, NO!"
When he wins the presidency, we must keep his feet to the fire. He is a strong man whose every fart and burp have been escalated into a firestorms of scandal and accused perfidy. He needs our full support, and those who wish to tear him down deserve our ridicule, and then ignoring. Every manufactured scandal should be met with that powerful leftist retort, "So what?" We must not allow him to take the kinder, gentler approach of the Bushes. He must be a firebrand and fight them at every turn and belittle every smear and lie, as our Jim does.
Full disclosure: I have been and am still a bit leery of Mr. Newt, but I am willing to concede that anyone as intelligent as he is realizes that it's time to dump the finger in the wind, realize who the enemy is, and save our country.
