I was also delighted to see that Fox calls it that Santorum will beat out Ron Paul.

Paul is a natural-born spoiler who will never drop out, but it’s good to see his numbers tanking. I think he probably owed his good results in Iowa and New Hampshire to leftist interlopers.

Sure, the Newt supporters are busy trying to smear Santorum, but I really think that’s kind of dumb at this stage.

The Paulistinians are not leftists.

They are about 10% of the party, about 25% of the under-30 party.

A man who can co-opt them will be a big winner.

I agree with you. We need them. I like Santorum. But as someone else on here said.... I want a guy who will kneecap Obama. And that's not Santorum. I don't think Santorum would cozy up to Zero and offer trite assurances that "we shouldn't fear an Obama presidency" (four years later, that STILL makes me go, WTF?????), but I don't think he has the kind of anger in him that we need.
