Leftists, MittBots, PaulBots, RINOs, Karl Rove establishment types and trolls of many stripes and colors have one-by-one driven our leading grassroots conservative candidates out of the race. They worked for years on Palin, then Perry, then Cain, then Bachmann, now Newt. When ever a non-establishment, non-RINO conservative gets into the lead they open fire and 24/7 trash and torpedo until they drive them out.

And he actually accomplished balancing the budget and taking on liberals in the media - changing the whole discussion of the country towards conservative ideals and reforms. We went from welfare, race baiting and political correctness dominating our country to talking about life in the US honestly. He won’t play destructive PC with Islam.
Conservatives made progress when he was the leader of the House and when he left, their voice and reforms died and Rinos took over again. He actually led making a majority for conservatives in the House through GOP organization via the contract with America. He recruited conservative women and minorities to the party. He knows how Washington works and how Socialists and Rinos undermine. He understands and gives voice to the American constiutional ideology.
He has accomplished more for the conservative movement than any of the GOPers whinning about him. That said, if we get him in, we have to watch and ride him because he has suffered spaz attacks in recent years (getting snowed by man made global warming nonsense, for example.) I know the liberal establishment hates him and they hate him because he derailed the “bi-partisan” destruction of the US. If he has the Senate and House, he’ll succeed in creating real reform and stemming the damage done by the Left.

I agree. IMHO Newty is the antithisis of conservative. It’s amazing to me how the newtbots simply pretend the Newty/Pelosi ad never happened. And they pretend he was not a serial philanderer who, in his last fling, lied and deceived for 18 months. Many of you may not believe he asked wife two for an open marriage. But I believe, given my 68 years life experience, it is consistent with his ego. Newty is not family friendly.
Also, I don’t get Jim Robinson’s claim Gingrich is not an elitist politician. Of course he is. And, IMHO, he shares reponsibility with a whole lot of people for the Marxist regime in Washington. Certainly he pursued some conservative agenda items as House Speaker. But he did not ever address the core problems: The Marxist cooption of unions, education, media, judiciary, religious ledership and Wall Street leadership. Newty sort of nibbled round the edges.
As for SC, where I reside, someone tell me why Bible Belt Christians would vote for this man. You Gingrichbots pretend that Santorum does not exist. As I drive around the Greenville area I see more Santorum signs than Gingrich signs. The situation here is not unlike Iowa for different reasons. Romney, Gingrich and the Marxist propaganda organs pretended Santorum did not exist there, too. But low and behold Santorum took Iowa. Now you Gingrichbots are desperately trying to pretend Santorum did not win. It really is pathetic.
My wife and I will be voting for Santorum this morning.
