This more than anything else illustrates how Republicans are committing political suicide by nominating Newt Gingrich. These numbers show that roughly half of the voters will not vote for Newt. Let’s find a candidate who has much lower unfavorability numbers before it’s too late.

That’s exactly what the GOP establishment and Romney are trying to do by having these polls run. They are trying to shape public opinion.

Who cares? Newt's favorability has been rising and is beating Mitt Romney's in the latest polls.
For instance on
strong favorability:
Newt 40%
Mitt 36%
Santuckabee 22%
Combined favorability:
Mitt: 69%
Newt: 63%
Santuckabee: 59%

Why don't you click your ruby slippers together and tell us who that person is?

Why even have an election process? Let's just do a favorability poll! When Newt has the opportunity to articulately contrast traditional founding values against the Marxist/Socialist currently in the WH you will be surprised how those numbers will change.

Reagan had low numbers at this point in 1980, too. The low numbers reflect what the MSM propagandizes and will rise once the conservative has a chance to get the conservative message out.
But, of course, you don’t give a rip as you support Romney and insisit Newt isn’t conservative.
