Surging presidential contender Newt Gingrich says he has a very good chance of winning the South Carolina primary Saturday and since his Palmetto State chances were not considered good until recent days, the victory would be an earthquake in his race for the Republican nomination. The former House speaker also told Fox News Greta Van Susteren after Thursday nights CNN debate his lot could lie with undecided voters.

I am praying that Romney finishes 3rd or 4th. Can you imagine the anguish in the media and GOP elite if that would happen?

I actually disagree. We already know he will most likely win or close second. An earthquake is something that is impulsive or suddenly happens. Now if Ron Paul wins than that would be an earthquake. Newt winning would not be a surprise at all.

I'd love to see Romney announce that he is dropping out!
I can't bear the thought of watching Obama skin Romney alive in debates.

"Prayer harder and bigger: that romney drops out."Romney will never drop out. He thinks he's destined to fulfill FLDS/LDS "prophet" Joseph Smith's "white horse" prophecy.
This isn't God's fight, it's ours.
BTW, I hear fellow Mormon Warren Jeffs plans to endorse Romney from prison !

Newt has to walk a fine line and try to remain reasonably humble about his personal thoughts on winning. It’s good to be positive, but pick your words carefully as to not appear brash. That said...GO NEWT!

Gingrich is going to be the next president.
I don't know about that, but for some reason I've been wondering all day "who is the MSM going to pick to be his Sam Donaldson." My mind keeps coming back to that question; can't explain why.
