I have to agree that this is stupid. Obama and Co have left themselves wide open for criticism. There is no comparison with a successful private company and a failed government sponsored enterprise.

I would laugh if it weren't deadly serious. The fact that a rock with the word about which even the WaPo article says "In an earlier time, the name on the rock was often given to mountains and creeks and rock outcroppings across the country". is a full-blown scandal, equating to Rick Perry's being a racist, but Solyndra is a semi-scandal. Perry rented some land to use for hunting a couple of times in his life and he's a racist because of a rock with an offensive word which his father painted over a decade before and which had also been turned over. Can we say "macaca?"
