Free Republic is now in full open rebellion against the elite GOP establishment and we're going to need your support now more than ever!!
Free Republic is and will remain a pro-life, pro-family, limited government, strong defense grassroots conservative site. As such, we cannot and will not support an abortionist/statist RINO for president.
RomneyCare = ObamaCare = government tyranny. Taxpayer funded abortion is as evil as evil can get. Romney has stated that abortion should be safe and legal in America and that Roe vs Wade is settled law and should be defended and sustained as such. He's also on record as being in denial of Reagan conservatism and he and his GOP establishment elite RINOS openly loathe the tea party. Romney has no core conservative principles. He will not fight for our causes.
Romney is a liberal/progressive RINO!!
No more RINOS!! No Romney, no way!!
This attitude will undoubtedly cause us to lose some of our true blue Republican members. So be it.
Rebellion is not easy, not for the weak-kneed or faint of heart, not free and there are no guarantees of success. We declare our intention to fight tyranny and pray to God that we are doing His will!!
Never give-in, never give-up, never surrender!!
But we need your support to keep it going. So please keep those donations coming in folks. No matter who gets the nomination, or who gets elected, we're going to need FR now more than ever!!
We are the resistance!!
Thank you all very much!!

Long live the tea party rebellion!!
From an earlier FR thread....
If there truly is a swingers vote, Newt gets another bump.
And if theres a divorced vote, bump Newt up yet another five!
But if theres a I cant stand my ex-wife vote, Newt beats the Mormon by a LANDSLIDE!!!
.....Post of the week.......LOL
Just donated after the endorsement of newt
Feeling rebellious, are ya?
I’ll be giving something in addition to my ‘monthly’ in a week or so. I’m also hoping by then we’ll have a more manageable GOP race, if another candidate, who’s name I sometimes confuse with ‘sanitarium’, gets a clue and drops out...
Keep up the good work.
Now THAT’S worth some cash....
“This attitude will undoubtedly cause us to lose some of our true blue Republican members. So be it.”
No loss. Too bad we couldn’t land us a VP who knew how to deal with those “corrupt bastards” in the GOP. Maybe a gal. From some cold climate. Who didn’t mind when she found out she was going to be “saddled with a defective child” when she was pregnant.
If only such a woman could be found somewhere...
Newt Gingrich epitomizes the elite GOP establishment.
Bizarre.
So, you finally saw the light. Welcome home Amigo!
I’m in.
Very mysterious thought there, LOL.
Your post is bizarre for its complete foolishness. The GOP-E despises Newt Gingrich and the feeling is mutual.
Jim R,
I appreciate the problem the current crop of candidates for the nomination poses to any Right-thinking Conservative — there ain’t a true Conservative in the bunch.
If what you’re saying is that Newt represents the least bad of a terrible list of alternatives, I sympathize. However, I too view Newt as the very epitome of the Elite Republican Establishment. Notwithstanding his outstanding ‘debating skills’, he has no credible Conservative track-record to point to that suggests his performance in office will even ‘resemble’ a true Conservative.
This just feels like another round of ‘hold your nose’ and vote for him anyway because the alternatives are so much worse.
No doubt I will ultimate vote ‘Against Obama’ come November, but I ain’t close to endorsing ANY of the current crop of candidates in the meantime.

Newt has been a private citizen for the last 13+ years, how can he be a part of the current Republican establishment?
