I'm officially endorsing Newt Gingrich for president today. Was going to wait until after Florida, but see no reason to delay. We need Newt to win in South Carolina and Florida to stop any possible momentum building up for the establishment big government, statist, abortionist RINO!!
RomneyCare = ObamaCare = government tyranny!! Taxpayer funded abortion is as evil as evil can be!!
Newt is a pro-life Reagan Revolution conservative who led the Republican Revolution of the 90s, taking the majority away from the democrats who had held it for 40 years. And as Speaker, cut the taxes, cut the government, cut the spending, cut the deficit, cut regulations, cut unemployment, brought the federal budget under control for four years running. And unlike Romney, actually blocked a socialist healthcare system from becoming law. And created a pro-growth, pro-free market, pro-jobs environment and extended the Reagan economy throughout the 90s!! Newt is the ideal candidate to lead the Tea Party Revolution!!
Newt plans to go to a 15% personal flat tax after deductions and a 12.5% corporate tax and eliminate the capital gains taxes altogether. He wants to privatize social security and medicare and eliminate the payroll tax.
And he wants to neuter the EPA and the Fed. Repeal ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank and Sarbanes-Oxley. Fire all of the czars, dismantle the Marxist state and fire if not jail Bernanke. And send 185 federal socialist welfare programs back to the states and the people, and return education back to local control.
Newt will directly challenge the liberal activist judiciary and end the unconstitutional power grabs of our usurping black robed rulers.
He wants to restore the constitutional balance of powers between the three branches and restore states rights and individual rights. He wants to turn government control back to the states and local people as the founders set it up.
These are the kind of dramatic reductions in government that the tea party is demanding.
And he has the knowledge, experience, know how, fire in the belly, and the balls to get it done!!
In short, I believe he's exactly what we grassroots conservative tea party rebels are looking for. I think we can use some of Newts conservative revolutionary talents right now!!
As long as the conservatives remain split, the establishment RINO Romney will waltz in just like McLame in 2008 and he will lose to Obama just like McLame. It's time to build the Gingrich Coalition!!
FR is hereby officially in full open rebellion against the elite GOP establishment and the Marxist commiecrats!!
Go, tea party!! Go, Newt!!
We are the resistance!!
Damn the torpedoes, damn the RINOs, damn the exes!! Full speed ahead!!
Free Republic is and will remain a pro-life, pro-family, limited government, strong defense, grassroots conservative site!!
RINOs need not apply!!
Happy Newt Day!! Only 366 days until President Newt evicts Obama!!
Applause & following your lead. I had been juggling Santorum and Gingrich. We need Gingrich’s smarts and I am hoping he has turned over a new leaf in the morals dept.
U are the man Jim!! Damn ur post was by far the best arguement I’ve heard for our future President yet. Well Said my FRiend.
He's got many good qualities. It's the not-so-good ones that concern me.
Nicely done, Jim. GO NEWT!!!
Thats exactly what my wife and I thought. Newt meant that he wanted to expand and work harder at his career and she was too clingy.
Do a You Tube search for “larry sinclair press conference”. You will find out.
“”Did we ever get out of you who you are FOR, exactly? Hope its someone who has the math and the cash and the wind at his back to overtake Romney in South Carolina, by Saturday. “”
That is the million, or should I sat the near 15 TRILLION dollar question that has as yet gone unanswered : /
I haven’t looked over the posting history, but if I had to guess, I would guess that surfer has been frustrated with the choices for a while. But heck, most of us here are disgruntled supporters of someone other than Newt who has been summarily dealt with by the StateRunMedia or worse, by the RepublicanElites. Difference is that we have come to the harsh realization that we have to do the best we can with what they have left us, and that surprisingly enough, Newt just might be the guy who can take it to them both.
May God grant each of us the strength, the wisdom and the courage we will need to see this through.

I agree. He may have overcome the 'women' part, but is he still susceptible to the 'new age idea' stuff? I don't know.....
My other concern is that he's tried very hard to get attention from the media. If he sinks back into that mode and doesn't focus on the task at hand, it could be trouble.
That said again, if he's the nominee, I'll fight like a madwoman for him so we can begin to get our country back.
Anybody that thinks Santorum is a fiscal leftist suffers from political dyslexia.
Newt, because I trust the others a little bit less.......
Since there are far fewer "others" than when I made my decision, I'm now figuring out how to add "'cept Romney, who I don't trust at all......."
Are you sure it was RINOs that voted him out?

Good for you!
Will you be watching the debate tonight? It should be interesting.
Amen!
You’re gonna have a heckuva long tagline my FRiend. :)
I’ll probably catch some of it. There have been so many debates that I’ll admit to having willingly skipped a few. :)
Ditto that!
“And he has the knowledge, experience, know how, fire in the belly, and the balls to get it done!! “
Time to circle the wagons and get it done. God Bless!
I am a Santorum supporter...still am. I understand your position and I can appreciate it. I know that it comes from a conservative perspective, and I can sympathize with it.
If Newt is the nominee I will vote for him. He has never been one of my top choices, but he has always been one whom I could vote for if necessary. That has always been my position. I decided early on, though, that I would not vote for Romney. It would only encourage the liberal wing of the Republican Party to nominate even more liberal candidates in the future. Romney might be a tactical victory of sorts for 2012 (although I actually view him as the enemy), but he would be a strategic defeat for the future.
I have often contributed to and heartily supported Santorum. To be honest, if Santorum drops out, I doubt that I will open up my wallet for Newt. I would definitely prefer him to Obama, but I don’t see myself rallying financially to his cause. Just being honest.
One more thing concerns me: If it gets down to Newt and Romney, or eventually Newt and Obama, I wonder about his chances. His negatives are high, especially among women. His marital history won’t be helpful. Just some observations. The next few days will be interesting.
No Santorum?
