My two daughters Cathy and Jackie have sent a letter to the president of ABC News saying from a family perspective this thing is totally wrong...

Isn't this just the type of thing you would want to task your daughters with, or even have them do it on their own.

Look Newt, you're talking to a guy that should have a great deal of sympathy with your 'former bitter wife' defense here. Sadly, you are a guy who cheated on his two former wives, so it gets a little more difficult to ignore some things your former wife might say.

Whose fault is that Newt? You were a man with very little moral fiber in those days. When I see you be unfaithful to Conservatism by sitting on a couch with Nancy Pelosi, it doesn't instill faith that you have strong moral fiber today as it relates to Conservatism. When you make join appearances with other Democrats, it doesn't help.

The daughters were making campaign appearances and writing editorials defending their Dad against media lies and distortions before this broke. Strangely, their efforts to correct the record never get reported on. I’m sure he didn’t “task” them with this. I’d do the same if a network tried to take my Dad down.

Bill Clinton has been unfaithful to but one wife only because that is all he has had. However, no one has yet accused Newt of rape. Can’t say the same for Clinton.

The candidate who can best defend core conservative principles extemporaneously in front of a camera should be President of the United States.

Since 1960, that’s the way the game has been played, and every time we think we can rewrite those rules as conservatives, we end up with either 40 years of democrats running Congress, or a democrat in the WH.

Unfortunately, Romney either can’t or won’t defend conservatism, even if he seems to be good in front of a camera. Santorum may or may not be a conservative, but he isn’t tough enough and doesn’t have the skill in front of a camera to defend conservatism.

Which brings us to Newt Gingrich, who does. He’s the only candidate we have that can handle the media in the year 2012 and control the agenda such that we as conservatives may, and I mean MAY, be able to right the boat.

Newt’s the only candidate that can win, and he’s the candidate the left doesn’t want us to pick. He’s also the one they haven’t got any ammunition left to use on him. Romney, or Paul, if they get the nod, would have seen a new media IED go off on him every week until November.

Newt, in my opinion, is the only conservative running that can win. In saying that, I’m not saying he’s the best conservative in the country for the job, but none of those people are running for office. CNN, and the modern media, have made it clear to any other competent conservative thinking of running that utter and complete invasion, distortion, and violation await.

If Newt doesn’t win the nomination, I’m writing him in anyway, since he’s the only one running I can live with.
