You know what, I agree.  It was too many words.  As the last act of accepting that we were going to get another fake Conservative in the White House, it seemed I was due some sort of forgiveness for the infraction in order to blow off steam as part of that process.  I didn't plan on writing much more on the subject.  I was addressed by another poster and did.  Folks can have Newt.  We'll just watch the crack-up together.

I have campaigned for NO ONE in this forum. I just campaign against the attacks launched against EVERYONE running (except Huntsman or Paul). I want to hear why someone supports their guy. I am sick to death of the constant, relentless attacks on the others candidates.

I can understand that point of view.  I would think you could understand my point of view, that expresses reasons why I can't support someone.

Look, either I believe what I advocate for here or I don't.  Either I mean it when I say I don't want a global warming nut, or I don't.  Either I mean it when I oppose Gore on the subject or I'm just opposing him because it's him.  I try not to do that.

No matter who is elected it will take seconds for the screams of RINO to start.

I must have been AWOL during the Reagan years then, because I don't remember those types of chants against him.  Perhaps you and others do.

I do remember the chants against every RINO since.

Republican presidents are bashed and battered by the Left for being "religious extremist nut-jobs" and by conservatives for being a "new-world-order-trojan-horse-marxist".

I don't remember folks saying things like this about Reagan.  Again, perhaps you do.

When a guy like George Bush talks about there being a New World Order, you might imagine some folks would hear it and object.

When people support things like NAFTA the WTO, and don't oppose the World Court before it becomes a reality, people do sit up and take notice.

Could it be some Republican leaders are spoken of as Lefties, a RINO, or being "a new world order trojan horse" for cause?

I really don't know why anyone would choose to run as a Republican.

I do.  They want to be the leader of the Free World, the West.

Some of these folks don't have a clue what Conservatism is.  They spout great catch phrases, then forget them for the full four years.

Others just make some great sound bytes against the press that we all hoot an holler over because it happens too few and far between, but forget that is no proof that they won't be a global warming or an amnesty nut.
