The Human Rights Campaign, a homosexual advocacy group, has produced a “professional development film” through its Welcoming Schools project for school staff and parents that features 6- to 12-year-olds talking about gays and lesbians.
The film is called “What Do You Know? Six to Twelve Year Olds Talk about Gays and Lesbians," and it "features students from Massachusetts and Alabama discussing what they know about gay men and lesbians, what they hear at school, and what they’d like teachers to do,” states the Welcoming Schools Web site.
The Web site has a two-minute trailer of the film and the description states that it “is currently being used in Welcoming Schools trainings across the country and playing in film festivals in Mobile, Alabama; Spokane, Washington; and Barcelona, Spain.”
On its home page, Welcoming Schools states that it “is an LGBT-inclusive approach to addressing family diversity, gender stereotyping and bullying and name-calling in K-5 learning environments. … Additionally, it offers a wide range of resources for school administrators and educators to support students who don’t conform to gender norms.”
Questions from CNSNews.com to the Human Rights Campaign -- including inquires about whether the training sessions are taking place in schools, how many schools are participating, and whether or not the video will be viewed by children -- were not answered before this story was posted.
(AP Photo) “It was in second grade and we had like a big meeting,” the first girl featured in the video says, followed by the remarks of another girl: “The teacher said stuff like, ‘Do you know what it means to be gay?’ and ‘Is it a bad thing to be gay?’”
“And then he just laid down this huge thing that was like, ‘No teasing about who your parents love,” says the next child in the video, who is wearing a shirt with the slogan ‘Tough Guys Wear Pink.’”
“Love is love and you shouldn’t turn love into hate’ is basically what he said,” the child says.
“A lot of kids in our school know the word gay, even kindergartners know it,” says another girl, who appears to be not much older than a kindergartner.
“This guy came up and said, ‘Ah man, you’re gay,’ and I’m like, ‘What does that mean?’” a boy says.
“Okay, so there’s these two people,” says a boy wearing a t-shirt with the slogan “Got Moms?” “A boy and a boy and a girl and a girl and they love each other.”
“I wish more teachers could elaborate on it and talk about it more instead of like two sentences and then dismiss the subject,” a girl says.
“Yes,” the final child featured in the trailer says. “Elementary school kids know the word ‘gay.’”
The Welcoming Schools Web site states that “Teachers Respond,” a four-minute video “featuring four teachers sharing classroom stories,” also is being produced and promises a study guide to go with the entire “What Do You Know?” film that will be available online “soon.”
The Web site includes “experts” praising the film, including one from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
“In just 13 minutes, the children featured in the film ‘What Do You Know,’ give us a wealth of insight, information and advice about how to include all children and families in our schools,” Lecia J. Brooks, director of outreach at the center, is quoted as saying.
“They let us know that we can’t stop anti-gay name-calling and harassment unless we are willing to have dialogue and educate. I recommend this film for all school personnel and parents.”
However, it's possible to keep propaganda out of the public schools. There's an action plan at "Stop Planned Parenthood" which could be applied to any of these promoters of deviant genital acts.
We've either got to stop them from getting to our kids, or we've got to get our kids out of these schools.

The end result of these Activist Groups agenda is to eventuality teach YOUNG children that it is ‘OK to have sex with adults’.
The only purpose of the Homo lobby is to make sex with children socially acceptable.
Any sane parent should remove their children from public school.

My kids know the word “gay” and I don’t have a problem with it. They know it’s a pejorative.
Fortunately, they go to Catholic Schools and I monitor to make sure their morality isn’t being undermined.
It is high time parents take an interest in what the government is doing to their chilfdren. This definitely calls for a school wide student boycott!
I say “screw” the public schools; get the good kids outa them and defund them. Anyone who has their kids in public schools is a fellow-traveller with the godless commie Democrats anyway.

It is wrong to teach children in elementary and Middle schools about homosexuality. It is wrong to teach in High school that it is just another preference.Homosexuality is an unnatural sickness.

Adults can handle the term but watch how these groups will scare the kids into thinking their way because of the fear of being called a bigot.
It's very simple: practice clearly enunciating the word "abomination." Then ask the children to define it.

SEPARATION OF SCHOOL AND STATE!!! It's the only answer. 10th Amendment needs to be actually followed. Bring the fedgov into line with what it's supposed to be doing; everything not enumerated is for the States and the people.

Socialist-entitlement schooling was evil from the beginning because children who attend risk learning to be comfortable with socialism. In only one to three generations of modern socialist-entitlement schooling our nation's citizens voted for Franklin D. Roosevelt for four terms!
Also...At their very best socialist-entitlement schooling offered up a lukewarm and generic Protestantism. What does Christ do with the lukewarm? He spits them out of His mouth! And.. the push has **always** been toward the final stage of complete godless secularism.
Modern government schooling has **always** been an abomination. Its curriculum and teacher training have **always** been under the control of progressives. It's push has **always** been in the direction of godlessness.
If government schooling is evil, what does it make those who **willingly** train to work in them, uphold them, and establish their policies?
Should a Christians and conservatives **willingly** train for and seek a job in an abortion center? Should they collect the money, answer the phones, sterilize the instruments, order the supplies, and hand the instruments to the abortionist? Should they do this and they say, “Well..I sneak in a little Christianity to the workers and the clients once in a awhile! And...Once or twice in my career, I did talk a woman out of an abortion!”
Well...Godless government schooling **forces** children to think and reason godlessly. These kids must just to be compliant in the classroom. How could it not be? Personally, I call that evil.
Personally, for myself, I have made a decision. I will **NOT** have a government teacher for a friend any more than I would have someone who worked in an abortion center for a friend. One place aborts little bodies, the other attempts to abort souls.
It desensitizes them. It destroys their natural and protective modesty.

and still with all this proof about he queer agenda there are some who still say they have no problem with the queer marriage .
It is high time they understood that the civil unions of which we never hear about today was the start and then it was marriage .
I have called public schools “slaughterhouses” for 3 decades, because they slaughter the minds, hearts, morals and faith of children and corrupt them so badly they often cannot be fixed. And of course it’s worse now then when I first became aware of the problem.
