The Daily Caller has learned that 100 tea party leaders from 25 states will announce Thursday that they are supporting Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and will form a coalition called Tea Partiers With Newt.
The news comes as signs appear that tea partiers here in South Carolina, which holds a primary Saturday, may be coalescing around Gingrich.

Other than his remarks against the Paul Ryan suggestions for budget cuts, and his stupid video with Pelosi regarding climate change, I think Gingrich has the potential to be a good president, perhaps one of the best ever.
So, here’s another “tea partier” endorsing Newt.
;)
Dude, how about a link next time?? damn.
And don't forget amnesty for illegals with "community draft boards" making the call.
You are correct. McNewt as the GOP candidate will be a nightmare. We would be hard pressed to re-take the Senate with Newt's negatives on the ticket. At least with Santorum, we'll pick up FL, NC, VA, PA, OH, IN, and IA.
No more driving on interstate highways for you.
I think John Kasich would be a great choice for the Newt’s VP. The Governor Ohio, an important swing state and someone that worked on balancing the budget with Newt in Congress.
This would also lay the groundwork for a conservative successor to 8 years of Newt. We could have 16 years of conservative leadership to undo all the damage the O did in the last 4 years.
Who is Baraq?
family values ? Just ask Larry Sinclair about Obama’s family values.
ABC
anybody but conservatives
amazing that the mainstream media have a 365 days a year ‘right’ to ‘veto’ a candidate that they say fails the smell test.. and they are the ones both providing and holding the bucket full of crap they pass off as unbiased ‘journalism’.
He’s an Obama twin, green energy scams and all.
And you’re gonna vote for him. Thank God you aren’t dumb like those democrats. LOL
...maybe we should just let the children die...!
What a cold hearted, stingy, attitude....!
I’m not for a blanket amnesty, BUT ... the Constitution reserves all powers not granted by the Constitution nor prohibited by it for the States and The People.
So the power to recommend or reject candidates for naturalization to the U.S. Congress, who has the sole power to define who qualifies for naturalization, is totally in agreement with the Constitution.
Who better to review an individual illegal’s fitness for naturalization than those closest to him/her? There are illegals in Texas who would make productive, proud citizens and illegals who should be sent packing back to their home country. I think of the “community draft boards” concept as being similar to character witnesses in the sentencing phase of a criminal trial. The law-breaking of illegals must be punished according to the law of the land. How severe that punishment is depends on redeeming factors testified to by character witnesses.
...Sweet...!
Well done. The media is responsible for pushing the 0bama to a dumbed down public in the first place...they play judge and jury and decide what news to feed the public. Anything but honest.
Journailm is dead to these people. The only one at ABC I’ll read/watch is Jake Tapper. And the others are no different.
Thanks for the post...and the numbers.
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization
Community boards would violate the uniform rule of our Constitution.
The Tea party began and must remain as a genuine grassroots-up movement. Yes you need leaders as a go-to person in planning events and steering volunteers to meetings and gatherings. The problem is that when these "leaders" start to become "personalities" and attach their name to the movement and to endorsements and the like. That's when squabbling and power games begin to take over and smother the group. I've seen it over and over again in volunteer efforts for the 25 years I've been involved in public policy grassroots.
The good news is it's a well-timed blow to Romney at a time when it will make a difference. Now lets hope they go back to their states and towns and resume the work of pure volunteer activism and dump any affinity for their status as a "leader".
Excellent. Let’s elect someone who has a history of actually carrying out a platform he ran on. GO NEWT!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly why I’m OK with federal funding of highways but not federal funding of automotive companies. A highway facilitates my freedom of personal movement as well as transportation of goods (basically everyone uses them if only indirectly). If I don’t drive I’m still paying legitimate taxes through the goods I buy that were transported on those highways. If I don’t buy a car, that’s my choice and the amount highway funding that comes out of my pocket is reduced. (Unfortunately highway funding is going to a lot of other crap that isn’t the government’s responsibly)
When you incentivize flex fuel vehicles or Chevy Volts, you are giving those buyers a tax break while making up for the lost revenue by dumping it on someone else. Its also an attempt to engineer an unatural market change as well as stepping all over the constitution’s equal protections. If there is a market for flex fuel vehicles, a company will rise to the occasion and fill the void without government assistance.
On the other hand, maybe I should start a buggy whip company and ask the government to incentivize sales. People who buy my buggy whips will get a tax break and I bet I’ll sell a lot of them.
