LAZ, you are right, some do owe Perry supporters an apology, and there was no need in being uncivil. Gov. Rick Perry is a fine, decent man, and makes Texas proud to have such as him as their Gov., he has some awesome ideas that need to go forward.

Gov. Rick Perry's day will come, he has a bright future in politics and I hope we can all get behind him when that day comes.

This is just my opinion, in respect to the RickPerry supporters. I do not NEED to hear from the anti-vile Perry haters on what I said. You will get CRICKETS, so save your energy, lest you show your immaturity.

3 CHEERS for GOV RICK PERRY on his decision and endorsement of Newt Gingrich.

Everyone who made uncivil comments need to apologize to each other’s Candidates. It has been ugly.

I think it is time to focus on Romney being replaced.

I think this is great - I was a Perry supporter early on, but I just didn’t think he had what it took in communication skills to get ahead. He improved a lot over the course of the campaign, but this whole thing is moving so fast that it was too late for him. (It’s way too fast - why have the rest of the states even bother to vote, if it’s going to be decided by IA, NH, and SC or Florida?)

I agree, there was a lot of viciousness and I think people were putting way too much emphasis on the personalities of “their” candidates rather than on their ideas and maybe identifying with them too closely. But now we’re down to the ideas part of the campaign, and I think Perry, oddly enough, may actually stand out more now that he’s not running for anything.

And I think Gingrich has what it takes, like him or not, and having solid people like Perry around will be a big plus for him. I hope Mitt Romney loses BIG in SC!
