(Peter's temper and Moses' stuttering are not quite the same thing, ya think?)

Sin is sin...but I would say King David did far worse in having his lover's husband killed....Newt hasn't done so.

You.ve stated....(My question is whether or not Newt has changed his ways)

Well his 11 yr. marriage currently should pull some weight....but aside from being God you cannot say if or not NEwt's changed....though many associated with Newt have attested to the fact he has...that would be a witness to the fact.

So the question really is what do YOU need to convince you something which cannot be proven as only God knows the future.

The articles already given you should have addressed your questions...because they apparently have not then I doubt there is anything which could. That's just the way you're coming across.

Maybe the question is can you forgive NEwt?

A temper is not sin. Stuttering is not sin. More than half your parallels were not parallels at all.

At any rate, I have found out the answer to my questions from others who did not belittle my question in doing so.

The question has nothing to do with ME, caww. It was a legitimate question that a whole lot of Christians have asked, and will be asking, and you had better be prepared to answer the question without including condemnation of the Christians asking it.

A whole lot of us believe that morality is a big issue when looking at a presidential candidate because morality is a big issue Scripturally.

As I said, others provided the answers, and I have thanked them here.
