MOSCOW -- A deal with Washington to assuage Moscow's concerns about U.S. missile defense plans in Europe is still possible, but time is running out, Russia's foreign minister said Wednesday.

Sergey Lavrov reaffirmed that Moscow will take retaliatory action if moves by Washington to deploy missile shield components around Europe pose a threat to Russia.

...

Moscow agreed in 2010 to consider NATO's proposal to cooperate on the U.S.-led missile shield, but the talks have run into a deadlock over how the system should be operated. Russia has insisted that it should be run jointly, which NATO has rejected.

...

The current toughening of Moscow's rhetoric has posed a challenge to President Barack Obama's policy of "resetting" relations with the Kremlin, which suffered badly under George W. Bush's administration.

But the Russians are our friends now...

And nuclear weapons are un necessary...

And WE are the true source of evil in the world...

And if we unilaterally disarm in front of the Russians, the seas will recede, the skies will clear, the unicorns will be free and all will be well!!!

Jeeze!!!

Neville Chamberlain at least wasn’t a traitor.

Meh. Their consideration to cooperate had all the substance Obama's consideration of the Keystone Pipeline did.

Don’t they just want all the plans and research that we have done to build a missile defense? How many billions have we invested in this, and oBozo the traitor will just give it away to our enemies.

I really don’t like democrats.

The only reason obama hasn’t sold us out on this issue yet is because it’s an election year and he doesn’t want to tip his hand to the stupid that he is totally anti-american. It’s got to be hard on poor ol’ obama. Does he do as much damage as possible during his 4th year knowing he won’t get re-elected for sure if he does or should he lie doggo until the election in the hopes he gets four more years of destroying the country. What to do, what to do.

After the Nov election it will be bad.

Expect gun control laws proposed like a new AWB, and as much disarmament as he can push through before he leaves office.

He probably will torch the Whitehouse on his way out the door.
