President Obamas decision to reject the Keystone XL pipeline application, as recommended by the U.S. State Department, was met with disappointment by our friends north of the border. In a statement, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harpers office said that President Obama called him this morning. The president explained that the decision was not a decision on the merits of the project and that it was without prejudice, meaning that TransCanada is free to reapply, said the statement. Prime Minister Harper expressed his profound disappointment with the news.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Have send the oil somewhere ,it will be backing up and will start to flow over the Canada - US border
Yep, wave goodbye to 20,000 jobs USA, and not only that, Obama was agaainst the Alaska Canada pipeline that Sarah Palin had arranged.
Obama expects to be re-erected in November? Hardly.
Obama is an a$$hat. Worst president in US history.
Obama got something right — it’s not on the merits!
Obummer stated that the denial of the project wasn’t based on the merits of the project? If I were running for president I would beat him silly with that statement, alone.
Oh sure he expects to be “re-erected” in 2012. Erected like a giant idol statue.
Doubtless passing the buck to “oh, those stubborn agencies, they wouldn’t give you a fair chance, Canada, but you can try again if you wish.”
PS I’m sure that if there was some way to turn this into a Rat union jobs project, the Bummer admin would find a way to make it happen in a New York minute. Too many jobs to flyover state folks was probably the problem with the current plan. Why waste favors on Republicans? Anti-noncrony capitalism, so to speak.
Obama is once again going after the college-age vote. They’re idealistic, and will eat up the environmental aspect of this. That demographic provided a lot of electoral energy for him the last time around, so it’s probably a smart move politically for him. By the time they graduate and face the reality of getting real jobs, it’ll be too late.
But he is the best Marxist/Muslim resident evah!!!
"The U.S. State Department said it told the President the pipeline, which would carry 800,000 barrels of day of oil sands bitumen from Canada to the Gulf Coast, isn't in America's national interest."
Own a bicycle?
Chu owns a custom $2000 bicycle.
But he is the best Marxist/Muslim resident evah!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Actually Obama is a liberal fascist. He is to much of a black power nationalist , elitist socialist to be a communist. And so he plays the fascist game of destroying our freedoms and government while appearing to “cure” our shortcomings. I hope he is a made target, he has already caused hundreds of thousands of deaths in Egypt, Libya
and Syria. just like Hitler did in Spain prior to WWII.
This is a good read:

The problem is that our countrymen cannot admit they elected a stone cold fascist as president.Until that happens the liberal fascist movement of Obama cannot be defeated.
You have it right though, your countrymen elected a moslem marxist as president. Good luck with that.
I hope enough of your fellow citizen wake up in time to vote him out in November. Imagine another term with this guy.
Since you cannot have power plants to charge electric cars, due to the EPA, perhaps the a North American rickshaw pedicab will be come popular. There could even be a presidential model.
Stupid is as stupid does needs to be modified for Barry: evil is as evil does.
I wish they would sell every friggin drop to the ChiComms and gas goes to $10 a gal in the US.
I agree that Obama is a liberal fascist, however, I think most people who voted for Obama have no idea what a fascist is and will not until the food stamps and welfare dries up.
