"Heres the quotation thats getting the most attention:
Rick Santorum is a good man. He is a good father. He is a good Catholic. But he hasnt always been a good conservative. And I make exceptions with his vote for Sonya Sotomayor as a for instance. That is a really liberal jurist that he helped put on track to become a Supreme Court jurist back when he voted to allow her to be on the Appellate Court. I mean, she is pro-abortion, would be my estimation of that. I mean, Obama is a very liberal president and she is reflective of his philosophy. So, I mean, there were 29 conservatives that voted against her. People like Strom Thurmond and Rick voted for her. So the idea that, you know, he is a pure social conservative, this flies right in the face of it
On the fiscal side, Rick, he has a horrid record when it comes to earmarks and defending spending. The idea that you can vote for all those earmarks and call yourself a fiscal conservative is just ludicrous on its face. That is why we have a tea party today.
So like I said, good man, good father and husband, good Catholic, but not always a good conservative.

Santorum was not in office to vote for Sotomayor onto the SCOTUS. This debate is over Santorum voting to place Sotomayor on the lower court.
“Tell you what, you go up to one of the honored military heroes who support him, one of the wounded warriors who support him, and you tell them to their faces the crud that you say about Governor Perry.”
That is quite irrelevant being that every candidate running for president has members of our military who support him.
BTW-Where did you see a poll that showed that Perry has a 60% approval rating?
"Ah yes, the old my dad can beat up your dad schoolyard banter."
Is this your source -- Texas Tea Party Straw Poll Saddle up Texas Straw Poll -- That Ron Paul won?
It’s funny you keep posting that picture. A man can’t rub his face now?
Who is your candidate so I can post a picture?
You live in Austin, right?
My source would be the Public Policy Poll that showed that Perry was in third place in Texas.
It makes it no less relevant, just an annoying fact for you to diminish that Perry has such regard for the military and they for him.
Wrong. Romney has not done one thing FOR America. Rudy has. Romney’s counterpart is barry.
“You live in Austin, right?”

“PPP surveyed 559 Texas Republican primary voters from January 12th to 15th. The margin of error for the survey is +/-4.2%. This poll was not paid for or authorized by any campaign or political organization. PPP surveys are conducted through automated telephone interviews. PPP is a Democratic polling company, but polling expert Nate Silver of the New York Times found that its surveys in 2010 actually exhibited a slight bias toward Republican candidates.”

Need to head to the office to work my oil & gas industry job in Austin, that like every job in the entire State of Texas, only exists because of Gov. Rick Perry.
If it were not for him, we would all be living in caves on the Barton Creek Greenbelt.
Just do us all a huge favor and walk up to one of them, in person, and spew your crud about their candidate to their faces.
Get out from the hidey hole typewriter and just do it.
Talk about making an irrelevant comment, you won the prize.
It wasn’t about the honored and the wounded supporting a candidate. It was about your ease of doing what you do on these threads, versus the scene of you daring to address these heroic men with the low bile you can spew here, with no consequences for yourself.
I further note that if the Governor were as worthless as you portray him, it is not likely that these men would bother with supporting him. They don’t just put their names on a list, they travel with and appear with him in public witness to their support. Marcus Luttrell lived in a room in his home and thinks of him like a son would a father.
All of this is lost on someone who does what you do. It has to be lost, and you have proved it by saying oh, every candidate has such support.
Changing the subject and ignoring the point.
Because the problem we deal with here ISN”T coming from Governor Perry.
Ahhh ? get a clue ? Rick was not even in the Senate in 2009 to vote to confirm Sotomayor..... but, the Rick Perry propaganda machine is still at work spreading lies.
And did you vote for Rick Perry for Governor, or did you cast a vote for Hutchison in the primary or Medina (or Bill White) in the general election?
Sonia Sotomayor has served as a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit since October 1998.
Rick Santorum was a Senator from 1995-2007.
